THE MORE THAN ENOUGH FELLOWSHIP
The More Than Enough Fellowship is a funded launch cohort that will guide you and other collaborators in your US community through the earliest stages of working together to provide more than enough for children and families in foster care. Alongside matching funding, you’ll find coaching and resources to help you and your fellow collaborators create greater community involvement, build stronger relationships and get better results for children and families.
THE MORE THAN ENOUGH DASHBOARD
To get to more than enough, first you have to know where you are — and who's there with you. That's why we created the More than Enough dashboard. The dashboard displays local foster care data for your community and connects you with other collaborators like you. The data will let you track your progress together so you know what it would take to reach more than enough for children and families before, during, and beyond foster care. The Pure Religion Project aims to inspire and equip God’s people to live the “pure religion” described in the book of James and invited throughout Scripture. Through world-class resources, supportive community and ongoing connection and coaching, you don’t have to wonder “how” anymore – you can lead your church with assurance, hope and the help you need.

Recognized on the Second Sunday in November
Every year, thousands of Christians around the world join together on the second Sunday in November to honor God’s heart for the most vulnerable children and families among us.
It’s a beautiful both/and expression – of both the diversity and the unity of the Body of Christ — a powerful demonstration of the Church at its best when it is, together, reflecting God’s heart for the orphaned and vulnerable locally and globally.
Pure Religion Sunday describes the breadth of diverse events taking place worldwide on this day; these expressions of pure religion look different in each unique context, but are all unified around a shared heart for vulnerable children and families.

Each year, CAFO provides tools and resources to support organizations and churches in leveraging Pure Religion Sunday for deeper engagement in the community. These resources include the Pure Religion Sunday Guide, Leverage Booklet and customizable graphics — and are available through the site below.

WORKSHOPS
Quarterly workshops, hosted by Mission Increase, cover biblically-based fundraising principles related to topics essential to growing a healthy fundraising ministry. In 2026, workshop topics will include making the invitation, fundraising events, recurring giving and annual fundraising plans.

CAFO membership includes group coaching, individual coaching and cohorts for leaders and development staff, offering a more comprehensive and in-depth look at your fundraising opportunities and challenges. Caring for vulnerable children is meaningful yet complex work, often marked by uncertainty and difficult decisions. Through evidence-informed, biblically grounded research and practical tools, the Research Center curates learning experiences designed for real-world challenges. You don’t have to do this work alone. Our resources are shaped by trusted experts and strengthened by global learning communities of Christian leaders walking the journey together.
The Research Center provides original research, self-paced courses, live learning experiences, tools and practical resources on key topics related to caring for vulnerable children and families worldwide. Many resources are available in Spanish.

The Core Elements CareIndex is a foundational resource for CAFO members. Built from global best practices and refined by field experts, it helps organizations strengthen care across key areas.

The Institute for Family-Centered Healing & Health equips foster and adoptive families — through ministries like you who serve them — with parenting approaches rooted in Scripture and science. We provide trusted tools that acknowledge the challenges of trauma or adversity but also emphasize the power of daily habits and Christian practices to help families experience less strain, more peace and real growth as healing steadily takes root in their children’s lives.

Foster and adoptive parents long for their children to experience hope in places of deep and complex pain. Yet seasons of relational, emotional or behavioral crisis can be part of the journey — and may feel overwhelming. OVC ESSENTIALS COURSE
The OVC Essentials course provides foundational knowledge of key ideas and issues in the field of care for vulnerable children and families. This 10-week survey course blends conversation-based presentations from respected leaders with recommended articles, videos and podcasts. It’s ideal for leaders and staff new to the field, lead volunteers, board members and student interns. Ultimately, OVC Essentials helps lay a foundation for a lifetime of effective service.

The Spiritual Formation Calendar Experience makes it easy for leaders and their teams to explore biblically-rooted spiritual formation practices. Each month's content includes a short guide and video on one formation practice, an exploratory exercise and questions to help teams process their experiences together. This guided experience, typically $99 for an organization/team, is offered to leaders of CAFO member organizations/churches in 2026 at a 50% discount! The annual Soul & Strategy Retreat is for the CEOs/EDs of CAFO member organizations and their spouses. It's designed to cultivate deep refreshment, spiritual health and meaningful peer friendships — and also to share vision and practical means to help leaders care well for the teams they lead. Through the generosity of several partners, we are able to offer a significant scholarship to each CEO/ED to help assist with the cost of the retreat. Further details about the 2027 retreat will be released soon.
