Chris Throgmorton has built a professional path defined by accountability and steady leadership. From guiding over 150 Marines to overseeing clinical trial transparency at Neurocrine Biosciences, he has always focused on delivering results without seeking recognition. As Head of Clinical Transparency at Neurocrine, he leads the development and execution of global clinical trial disclosure strategies. He ensures compliance with FDAAA 801, EU CTR, and other necessary regulations. His background across the military, biopharmaceutical, and government-regulated sectors has shaped his direct approach and ability to keep teams aligned. At Neurocrine, he designed the whole clinical trial disclosure program. He established internal procedures, created vendor oversight models, and implemented document management tools like Smartsheet and SharePoint. He also provides ongoing guidance to leadership while monitoring regulatory changes to keep the organization prepared. Previously, he served as a Program Lead at a large biotechnology company. There, he was responsible for supplier management and performance analytics within the Regulatory Affairs and Safety department. He managed a budget exceeding $50 million, established vendor governance structures, and directed strategy for over 15 global drug products. His work improved reporting consistency, audit readiness, and operational efficiency. His leadership experience started in the U.S. Marine Corps, where he served as a Sergeant and Quality Assurance Safety Observer. He supervised Marines and civilian contractors, and under his leadership, his unit was the only one on base to pass its annual audit, earning him the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal. Beyond his career, he donates to CHOC to support children’s health, sits on the board of Kid Gloves Boxing to mentor youth, and helps veterans adjust to civilian life. Chris Throgmorton earned his MBA from California Lutheran University and his BA from Arizona State University.
