Psalm 119:105
As I was growing up I attended some small country churches where
we sang from these old hymnals at every service. The words in these
hymns were the basis for hearing and singing God’s personal Words to
me. I didn’t fully understand that at my young age, but I definitely
apprecate the truth of that now Please don’t misunderstand - I love the
new praise choruses and songs. Anything that is based on God’s Word and lifts the Name of Jesus is wonderful, but those older hymns are what gave me that Biblical foundation.
I learned early in life that there was an OldRuggedCross and that because Jesus Loves Me I could come to Him Just As IAm. His Amazing Grace was given to me freely. And as His LoveLiftedMe, I had His
BlessedAssurance that there is marvelous, awesome Power in theBlood. I know full well that His BloodWillNever Loseits Power!
Life has brought me trials and challenges, but as I have been faithful
to StandingonHis Promises, I have experiences Victory inJesus - over and over That victory has never been because of my goodness - it’s all
about my God - my Savior - I’maChildof theKing! And because of that heavenly turth, I have continually Decided toFollow Jesus, with no turning back.
I can tell you without a doub, NoOneEver Caredfor Me (you) Like
Jesus, and no matter what storms in life come my way, I declare It Is Well
WithMy Soul! My Abba God gave me SomethingWorthLivingFor - His
WonderfulPeace and I’dRather HaveJesus than anything this world offers!
So, friends - prayer warriors, as we look forward to that glorious day WhenWeAllGet toHeaven, let’s never forget we are to continue in our calling of being Fishers ofMen. We must always remember that we are to
Resuce thePershing by turning them to the Savior, because that’s our true mission.
