The Fine Sale is a curated collection of pieces of excellent quality. Highlights in this sale include an exquisite late Qing Dynasty Chinese hongmu display cabinet which is profusely carved all over, and a large bronze figure of Minerva on her chariot by the French sculptor Emmanuel Fremiet. There are ceramics by renowned makers including Meissen, Sevres, Worcester, and Herend. There are also Mottahedeh tablewares from the personal collection of Mildred Mottahedeh, including an extensive ‘Golden Butterfly’ dinner set. The sale also contains sets of drinking glasses by Baccarat, Lalique, and Saint-Louis.
