Page 1

A Witch

Let’s begin by drawing a square in the middle of the page with a smaller square inside it. Then add slightly wonky rectangles on either side. This is the buckled band on your witch’s hat.

Add long pointy shapes on either side below the buckled strap for a brim, and a big crooked point above, as I have here. Your hat is now ready for a witch.

Draw a zigzagged line down from each side of the hat brim. This is our witch’s hair.

A curved line between the zigzags makes up the bottom of our witch’s face.

Finish off her hair by adding a horizontal zigzig with a peak on the left, as I have done here.

It’s time for some eyes. Draw two big circles, and then add two smaller circles inside each one. Colour the smallest ones but leave white dots inside for extra detail.

Add a curved line above the left eye (her right eye) for an eyebrow. Then add four lovely long lashes to each eye.

A line and a bump in the middle of her face gives your witch a nose. And a little curved line below that is her smile. Nearly there…

Now colour your witch in. Green is always good, and purple and black are nice witchy colours too. But yours can be whatever colours you like.
