Helping children and their single mothers rise above

Gracewood rescues and restores children and their single mothers by offering home, hope, and healing. At Gracewood, we allow single mothers and their children who find themselves in crisis to hit the pause button and refocus their future toward safety, happiness, and independence. By guiding them in their pursuit of independence, they learn the basic tools they need to make long-term, quality-of-life improvements.

Miracle Farm Boys Ranch

Forging boys into men of character and purpose

Rooted in Christian faith and western heritage, our one-of-a-kind ranch helps struggling young men experience healing, earn an education, and learn respect. Through our innovative horse program and on-site academic and vocational training, young men establish and achieve goals for a lifetime, and learn to believe in themselves as something more than society has painted them to be. It all happens in a safe, structured environment where they have the opportunity to turn their lives around and become responsible men.

Texas Baptist Children’s Home Embrace. Empower. Equip.

Texas Baptist Children’s Home (TBCH) embraces children and families in need in order to empower and equip them for a promising future. Children and single mothers, and youth aging out of foster care or facing homelessness, who come to TBCH are often lost, hurting, and hopeless, without a place to turn for help during their time of greatest need. Our residential programs provide a safe home and a stable family environment where they can learn, grow, and ultimately experience a happy, healthy future.

TODD ROBERSON President/CEO

Children At Heart Ministries

Round Rock

There is an ancient proverb that says a society grows great when people plant trees in whose shade they may never sit. At its heart, this wisdom speaks to planning, responsibility, selflessness, and a deep love for others, values that have long shaped communities across Texas.

As President and CEO of Children At Heart Ministries, I am grateful to be living in the shade of trees we did not plant. In 1950, our faithful founders stepped out in obedience to launch a ministry dedicated to serving vulnerable children and strengthening families. Their vision laid a strong foundation for healing by helping children and families recover from complex developmental trauma and restoring hope across generations.

In 2025, our family of ministries celebrated 75 years of walking alongside children and families from hard places. Through changing seasons and growing needs, we have remained anchored in the promise of Jeremiah 29:11: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

As you review this 2025 Annual Report, I invite you to see how Gracewood, Miracle Farm, and Texas Baptist Children’s Home are planting new “trees” for the future. Through strategic capital campaigns and thoughtful investment, we are strengthening our campuses and expanding our capacity to serve the next generation of children with excellence and compassion.

With God’s blessing and your faithful partnership, I am confident we will continue this important work so children and families may one day rest in the shade of a hope filled future.

This year, we walked alongside 23 single mothers and 45 children, in our residential programs, who came to us exhausted, afraid, and carrying the weight of trauma and uncertainty. Empowered by the unfailing love of Christ and a relentless community of supporters, Gracewood stepped into the gap for these families by providing safe housing, holistic support services, and opportunities to learn and develop new skills.

We celebrated milestones both large and small: babies taking their first steps in our recreation center, high school and college graduations, faith and hope being restored to mothers and children alike.

This year, we saw the official launch of our first homeless prevention program! Through the new Family Relief program, we provided rental assistance, life skills training, financial literacy, parenting classes and spiritual development to single mothers in our community. We look forward to seeing how God uses this program to impact many lives.

As you read this annual report, I hope that you will read each statistic as a story of resilience and courage and a testament of the faithfulness of God. Gracewood remains steadfast in our commitment to providing Christ-centered care to mothers and children. Thank you for believing boldly with us, serving faithfully beside us, and trusting God to do immeasurably more than we could ask or imagine in the years to come!

WILL KLOTZ

Miracle Farm Boys Ranch

Joining the mission of Miracle Farm Boys Ranch in the role of President this year has been a tremendous blessing. Among all the new experiences on the ranch and all the wonderful people I have met, one thing stands out more than ever before. Christ is relentlessly pursuing broken and hurting boys to redeem and transform their lives, and He is using Miracle Farm to do it. In Psalm 72:14 when speaking about the poor and needy, it says “He will redeem them…for their lives are precious in His sight” (NLT).

When I think about one of our boys who spent his infant years in extreme poverty, being raised by drug addicted parents, left on the floor for days with no one to hold or comfort him, now being baptized and thriving in his relationship with Christ, I see a young man precious in His sight. When I think about another young man who told us his highest aspiration was to be a bum on the street and whose highest grade in middle school was a 25%, who is now ahead in school and excited about what his future holds, I see a young man precious in His sight. When I think about the ways God provided for the construction of a new house, and how He is about to take six young men from dire circumstances and place them in our ministry, I am reminded yet again that the lives of broken and hurting boys are precious in His sight.

I want to thank you for all the ways you are supporting the wonderful work happening at Miracle Farm. As you serve, pray, and give to our ministry, you are yet another example of how precious the lives of our boys are in the sight of God. I cannot wait to see all that God do will at Miracle Farm during the coming year.

DEBBIE RIPPSTEIN BOND

President, Texas Baptist Children’s Home Round Rock

At times, we are called to do the unexpected - to step into moments we could not have planned and walk alongside families in their most vulnerable hours. This year brought several such moments, each reminding us that ministry often happens quietly, tenderly, and far beyond what can be captured by statistics alone.

One of our Family Care clients, a devoted mother of four, was diagnosed with inoperable cancer. Our staff surrounded her and her children with compassion, walking faithfully beside them through her transition to hospice care. She passed away during the past summer, deeply loved and never alone. When the family faced the unexpected question of an eternal resting place, a donor responded within hours, generously providing a cemetery plot, a sacred gift at exactly the right time.

In July, one of our young adults served as a student nurse at Camp Mystic. The experience left an indelible imprint on her life and will shape her journey for years to come. For this young lady, the emotional toll of that experience was heavy. She was surrounded by support from her Home Base “family.” Friends and staff from TBCH checked on her constantly, prayed with her, and helped her access therapy and counseling. Even moments that cannot be fully explained remind us that care does not always look the same, but it always matters.

Thank you for supporting this work even when you don’t know every story or every circumstance. Your prayers, volunteer hours, and financial generosity enable us to meet both daily and unexpected needs. Because of you, when the call comes, we are able to answer with compassion, courage, and hope, sharing the love of Jesus every day.
