I was only able to get a double because I was injured; however, if I hadn’t been, I probably could have made it into a triple, had my running abilities not been compromised by my knee injury.

2. What has being on a team taught you? Being on a team has taught me that you can’t just worry about yourself in most scenarios, when you are apart of a team you have to look out for everyone, you can’t just think about yourself or the close people around you because when you look out for everyone else you will start to see what the team is capable of when everyone works together.

3. What are your future plans?

I plan to attend a cosmetology school, and after obtaining my license, I plan to become a massage therapist. I am not fully sure which school I would like to attend yet. 2. What has being on a team taught you?

Being on a team has taught me the importance of commitment and hard work. Showing up every day and putting in a consistent effort goes a long way. I’ve seen firsthand how that progress has shaped me into the athlete I am today. Without truly committing to the team and all the hard work it takes to improve, I wouldn’t be where I am now.
