Residents are being reminded to register by 20th April and check they have valid photo ID ahead of May elections CHELTENHAM residents are being warned not to miss their chance to vote, with a key registration deadline approaching ahead of local elections in May. Voters have until Monday 20th
April to register in time for the borough and parish elections on Thursday 7th May 2026. The election period officially began on Monday 30th March, when notices of election were published.
