EIGHT people have been convicted following a £2.2 million money laundering operation led by a Cheltenham man who recruited seven others to launder criminal cash. Patrick White, 31, from Spa Road, and Thomas Dainty, 31, from Beckford Close, Abbeymead, were jailed at Bristol Crown Court on Friday 14th August after pleading guilty to their roles in the organised crime group. White was handed three years and eight months in prison, while Dainty was sentenced to two years and nine months. The pair had laundered more than £300,000 through Post Office branches in Gloucestershire and Bristol as part of the wider operation.
