DJ Yoda takes us back to the 90s, from hip hop and pop, to cult TV and the biggest dancefloor-fillers, to open the DEYA Arena. Twenty years since he released the classic How To Cut & Paste: 80s Edition, DJ Yoda creates a live 90s mixtape performance taking us back to the decade when Cheltenham Jazz Festival was born.

Virtuoso violinist Nigel Kennedy returns for his first UK tour in over 10 years. Celebrating his 70th birthday in 2026, he is as fresh and entertaining as ever. Bill Frisell is a pioneering American guitarist known for a ‘genre-blurring’ sound that seamlessly weaves jazz, folk, Americana and avant-garde rock. From his landmark debut Journey To The Urge Within to his Mercury-nominated Modern Day Jazz Stories, he has consistently redefined what it means to be a jazz artist in the UK. Blending the spiritual legacy of Coltrane with the pulse of reggae, soul, hip-hop and drum & bass, his music tells the story of an artist, a generation and a nation finding its voice through sound.

Entrance to the Festival Village is free; buy tickets for the individual events you wish to see.

Getting to the Festival

Cheltenham is easily accessible from all over the UK. Most events take place on the main Festival site, located in central Cheltenham on Montpellier Gardens (GL50 1UW).

Family Events

For safety, children 11 years and under must be accompanied by an adult aged 16 or over. Everyone over the age of 12 months requires a ticket, babies in arms (12 months and under) do not require a ticket unless stated.

DEYA Arena Access Bookings

Our new-look standing DEYA Arena has some wheelchair accessible and essential companion seating on a viewing platform. To book, please use the Access Booking Form on p63

Sensory Aids

These sensory aids are designed for anyone who might need them, for example autistic people, people with ADHD or those with sensory processing disorders.

We ask that you don’t bring glass on site

Filming and Photography

We want everyone to enjoy the Festival and make memories so while photography and filming on your phone is allowed, professional photography and audio recording is not allowed.

Visitors to the Festival may be filmed and/or photographed for future promotions.

To get the best out of the Festival we recommend you book in advance, however there will be availability for some events at the Box Office on site.

During the Festival

You can purchase tickets in person at our Festival Box Office. Opening hours will be listed at cheltenham festivals.org/booking

Access Ticket Bookings

Please book using our online form which will be available from 10 February at cheltenhamfestivals.org/ access

Forms will be processed in the order we receive them from 23 February.

Dining Event Booking

Our dining seating plans are pre-allocated by the venue and tables may be shared. Please inform our Box Office about any dietary requirements or add these to the special requirements field when booking online.

Booking Fees

Booking fees apply to all bookings and are charged per order. Fees are £4 online and over the phone, with no fees for in-person bookings during the Festival. Members are exempt from paying a booking fee.

Gift Vouchers

Cheltenham Festivals Gift Vouchers may be purchased at our Box Office or online and may be redeemed against ticket or Membership purchases.

Refunds

Tickets cannot be refunded, except in the case of a cancelled event.

Tickets can be exchanged subject to a £3 fee (excluding Patrons and Member+) and availability.

Please note, if there is a difference in price, ticket holders will not be refunded the difference and will have to pay any additional cost price. Sometimes alterations to the advertised details of an event or performance are made at short notice. If this happens there is no obligation to refund your money or exchange your seats.
