At Indian Creek Road Public School, kindergarten students learn to roll with the pumpkins. And to roll them. Every October since 2013, youngsters such as Rocco Faria and Kyra Ringrose have taken part in a slow-moving pumpkin race tradition at Mud Creek Park. A total of 27 students in Rachel Garrow’s class took part. Pumpkins were donated by Sobey’s and will be passed on to the animals at Charlotte’s Freedom Farm for food after Halloween.
