“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
– Matthew 28:19–20
Go and make disciples. Discipleship follows from evangelism which starts from much praying. As the team walked through the city streets of Lalitpur and Kathmandu, they prayed covering malls, museums, schools, and even Nepal’s top university. They spoke words of blessing and interceded for students and locals, believing that they too would come to know Jesus.
Victory Cainta’s very first Ten Days Mission commenced last August 20, when the team left for Nepal The twelve days that followed were nothing short of miracles after miracles as the team saw God’s hand at work. Thanks to your support both through prayers and finances we are happy to inform you that we have accomplished the mission.

These prayers led to divine appointments From Omega College, Charlie and EJ met Abin and his friends From Pulchowk University Shane met Aashna and Anitya. From Tribhuvan University, Yla met Bhawana, Kath met Resha, Kanchan, Bpesh, Ishpa, Aashma, Aayusha, and Barsha, and Erwin met Prakash and Nischal. Most of them are students earning their masters degree Each one had their own stories and differing backgrounds but all welcomed Jesus as we presented Him to them.
One powerful moment came when Shane and Enzo were invited into the home of Aayusha a student who hated local Christians. There, they got to know the student better, but not only her, but her entire family as well, including an uncle who was a former journalist and one who is open to Christianity
Even casual encounters turned into divine ones. During a grocery run, Orly, Erwin, and EJ met Arun, a tea shop manager and an excellent salesman After making a good sales with the team, Arun himself requested prayer from the team
The mission also opened doors beyond student ministry Coach Elmer was able to engage the faculty of Tribhuvan University’s Physical Education Department, sparking discussions on Physical Education in the Philippines. This connection may pave the way for future collaborations between TU and EN Lalitpur.
Many of these new friends later joined church events, where they were warmly welcomed and connected to local staff and leaders. We continue to pray that they will continue to be engaged so that they too would eventually arrive at a personal decision to put their trust in Jesus’ finished work on the cross

Teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. In one of the pre-missions training, the team was reminded that their mission was twofold: engage the lost and encourage the church. In EN Lalitpur Nepal, they had the privilege of watering seeds planted by missionaries before them. Enzo, EJ, and Erwin shared their salvation stories. Kath led worship during Saturday services and a Worship Night Shane and Yla encouraged th ti d i tith d fferings Orly, Coach Elmer, and hat stirred a deeper love for God’s

The team also strengthened the local church through special gatherings a couples’ night, a women’s fellowship, and a men’s fellowship all held within just three days Despite limited preparation time, God’s grace enabled the team to serve with excellence, and the sessions were met with much appreciation Between events, hearts were opened, stories were exchanged, and lasting friendships were formed. Even during their final evaluation meeting, the Cainta team continued to encourage and edify the Lalitpur leaders.

And surely I am with you always. The journey was not without trials. Team members faced physical injuries, health concerns, family struggles, and even moments of fear while traveling. At one point, a lost wallet nearly disrupted their return trip, but God intervened and restored peace. Through it all, the team learned firsthand that Jesus truly is Emmanuel God with us His protection, provision, and presence were evident every step of the way.
As the mission came to a close, the team returned home with hearts overflowing with gratitude. They carried with them the joy of seeing lives transformed, the encouragement of new friendships, and the assurance that the seeds planted in Nepal will continue to grow.
This first Ten Days Mission for Victory Cainta was more than a trip it was a living testimony of God’s faithfulness and a reminder that the Great Commission is alive and advancing in every nation
Jai Masih! To Him alone be all the glory, honor, and praise!
