Charleston Forge Metal Finishes
Standard Metal Finishes
* Burnished Iron is a metal finish designed to bring out the natural look of steel. It is achieved by first lightly grinding the edges of the steel frame, revealing a brighter steel under the dark surface. The frame is then powder coated with a translucent finish that protects the steel from corrosion, while still allowing the look of the raw steel to show through.

* PLEASE NOTE: Our standard Maple, Wormy Maple, also called Ambrosia Maple, is notable for its beautiful, contrasting grain pattern with distinct markings and worm holes created by the Ambrosia beetle. Please bear in mind that woods have grain and color variations caused by the growth pattern of each tree which may cause the finish on each piece to differ slightly.
A custom quote is required if Maple is desired with no wormholes whatsoever.

Charleston Forge welcomes the opportunity to create custom furniture for you. You may customize almost any existing or discontinued item, or create a design that is uniquely yours. Please follow the simple steps below to get your custom order started.

2. QUOTE PROCESS:
Each custom project is reviewed on an individual basis. A written quote is then prepared, explaining the projected costs and estimated lead time needed.
Please allow at least 48 hours after sending in your request for us to finalize your quote. Sometimes the quote process is extended if we must get information from an outside supplier or if CAD drawings are required.
3. PLACE YOUR ORDER:
When you are ready to order, fax the original quote back to us with a valid purchase order. Charleston Forge reserves the right to require prepayment for a custom order.

While we do inspect fabrics for mill imperfections, we cannot be responsible for defects, color or dye lot variations, or other flaws in fabrics. Charleston Forge accepts no responsibility for a fabric’s overall appearance, flammability, normal durability or colorfastness.
Orders must be submitted in writing, either by e-mail or fax. Information must be complete before the order will be acknowledged. It is your responsibility to review your acknowledgment for accuracy. You must advise us of any discrepancies within five (5) business days of acknowledgment date. Lead times are calculated from the date of acknowledgment. All prices shown are retail and are subject to change without notice.
TERMS
Payment terms vary from Proforma to Net 30 days, based upon your financial information. We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. Orders will not be processed for accounts with past due invoices.
ORDER CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS
Requests for changes or cancellations to orders must be made in writing within five (5) business days after the acknowledgment date. Revised orders will generate a new acknowledgment and may result in a later completion date. Any changes or cancellations that occur more than five (5) business days after the acknowledgment date will incur a charge of 50% of quoted cost.
CUSTOM PRODUCT
Charleston Forge reserves the right to require prepayment for custom orders due to additional engineering and manufacturing of custom parts. Custom orders may not be canceled once the order has been acknowledged.
SHIPPING POLICY
All shipments are freight collect or third party billing and are F.O.B. Boone, North Carolina. Please provide us with your shipping preferences with each order, or send us a signed document specifying a default carrier for your orders.
We accept no responsibility for freight charges or services. You may request a list of preferred carriers for your area from Customer Service. Shipping weights are provided for your convenience. They are good faith estimates and are subject to variation
without notice. Charleston Forge is not responsible for differences between our weights and those shown by the carrier.
CLAIMS FOR FREIGHT DAMAGES
Charleston Forge is not responsible for damage to merchandise in transit or in storage. Title and risk of loss pass to you upon delivery to the carrier at our factory. Freight damage is the responsibility of the carrier and all claims should be filed with your carrier.
CLAIMS FOR SHORTAGE OR DEFECTIVE MERCHANDISE
It is your responsibility to immediately inspect all products for factory defects and shortages. Failure to report any shortage or defect claim within five (5) business days shall constitute full acceptance of merchandise.
RETURNS, REPLACEMENTS AND CHARGE BACKS
Charleston Forge product is subjected to multiple quality inspections to ensure the product meets our quality standards prior to packaging and shipping. In the unlikely event that you should encounter a problem or defect, contact our Customer Service department and they will guide you through the process to facilitate corrective action. We will not allow charge backs to be taken without prior approval. Charge backs and returns require photography showing both the problem and the packaging. If goods are damaged the box must be saved pending examination.
Any item that needs to be returned to the factory must have a return authorization. Credit will not be issued until the item has arrived back at our factory for inspection. It is your responsibility to package the return properly, as any damage other than a factory defect is your responsibility. Return authorizations are valid for forty five (45) days, and late returns will void any potential credit.
DIMENSIONS
Because every Charleston Forge piece is handmade and fabrics and leathers vary in thickness, actual dimensions may vary slightly from those in the price list. If precise product measurements
are crucial, please contact Customer Service prior to ordering.
SEMI-CUSTOM ALTERATIONS
Occasionally, we are able to make minor accommodations, such as supplying a top as unfinished wood, etc. outside of our custom program. Contact Customer Service for pricing.
BASE-ONLY ORDERS
Most Charleston Forge tables are available for order as a base only. Please note that the weight capacity of a base does not guarantee its suitability for all tops of that weight. Please contact Customer Service for pricing and more information.
WARRANTY
Charleston Forge products carry a warranty for one (1) year following the original invoice date.
Charleston Forge uses solid wood, fine leathers and fabrics, and other natural materials. Variation of color, stain, dye lot, etc. are to be expected. We believe these characteristics make each piece unique, and do not consider these variations to be a defect.
Chips and scratches that occur from handling or use are not the responsibility of Charleston Forge. We do not warrant against wear, fading or shrinking on fabric or leather parts. Please note that foam seats will soften and conform with use. This is normal and is not considered a defect.
This warranty applies under conditions of normal indoor residential use and does not apply to damage incurred as a result of negligence or misuse. This includes improper cleaning, exposure to chemicals, foreign substances, liquids, sunlight, accidents or any use for which the product was not intended. Charleston Forge furniture is intended for indoor use only.
We shall, at our discretion, repair or replace items that fall under the terms of this warranty. We reserve the right to make changes in our designs, details and dimensions without notice.

The Casual Dining Program offers ten different base styles, each available in dining, counter, and bar heights. They are available with either maple or glass tops. Dining height table tops range from 36 to 60 inches in diameter, while counter and bar height table tops are available in 36, 42, and 48-inch diameters.
How to Order
To place an order for a Casual Dining table the following information must be provided:
• The table style number.
• The letter indicating the desired base height: Dining (D), Counter Height (C), or Bar Height (B).
• Top diameter.
• Metal finish.
• Top material and finish options.
