Acclamation of Mayor and Notes from a Mayor Part 10 Council does not give me any idea what Council stands for or wishes to accomplish. A full political campaign raises people's awareness and expectations. Acclamation is lifeless: no presentation of ideas; no harvest of signs; no articles of ideas to agree with or oppose; no promises; no analysis of the previous Council and Mayor; no plans for the future. We need clarification. n September 17, 2022 at 8:34 p.m., members of the Superior East Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a marine Long Term call on Ruth Lake, Forecast approximately 15 Thursday High 14 kilometres south of Low 5 Chapleau. Reports Friday indicated a male had High 17 gone out in a canoe and Low 7 had not returned. Saturday High 10 Low 2

Police attended the scene and located an overturned canoe on the lake. On September 19, 2022 at 11:30 a.m., with the assistance of the OPP Emergency R e s p o n s e Te a m ( E RT ) a n d t h e O P P Underwater Search and Recovery Unit (USRU), a body was recovered from Ruth Lake. The deceased has been identified as 74year-old Doug LYNN from Chapleau. Cause of death remains unknown at this time. The investigation is ongoing under the direction of the Office of the Chief Coroner.
