CPCK Holiday Train Warms the Heart By Steve Schmidt t's a Chapleau tradition that we share with folks right across the country. The Christmas Train rolled into town right on time, Monday at 4:15pm. The town came out to enjoy the country music stylings of CCMA's Male Artist of the Year, Jade Eagleson. With four gold and two platinum certified singles, Jade is the most globally streamed debut artist in history, racking up 335 million streams and 130 million YouTube views. Also on the roster was Teigen Gayse who was nominated for Breakthrough Artist of the Year from the Canadian Country Music Association. Teigen was also Female Artist of the Year and Songwriter of the Year at the BC Country Music Awards. With 10 million global streams and 48 million TikTok views, she has established herself as an emerging artist on the rise. After performing separately, Jade and Teigen joined forces and soon had the kids dancing and the crowd singing along - AND raised $7000 to be allocated to local charities. It fairly warms your heart on a cold December day.
