The third period began, and things were starting to look bleak for the Huskies when Blind River added two more goals to their tally bringing the score to 6-1. With 8 minutes remaining in the third Jack Cyr scored, assisted once again by Max Thibeault and this seemed to ignite the Husky bench. Goals by Braeden Bernath assisted by Tanner Moreau, and Jack Cyr from Colten Caron helped bring the Huskies closer, but there was still much work left to be done, and there were only three minutes left in Long Term the game.
