activities for the youth of community has been an ongoing concern locally, and now the Mayor has proposed a formal committee to deal with the issue. It's make up would included members of council, the Township's Director of Recreation and at least two members of the Community Policing Committee. The Mayor is also calling on interested parents and the youth of the community to step forward and be a part of the initiative. While the entire council would be on the committee at start up, it's the intention to reduce the number of councilors after start up.
