We do that by being with Jesus, becoming like Jesus, and doing what Jesus did.
A key part of this mission is helping people discover their God-given gifts and empowering them to use those gifts on the Dream Team to serve with purpose and advance the Kingdom of God.
The Dream Team consists of remarkable individuals who have identified their unique gifts and passions and are actively using them to serve. Whether it’s creating a welcoming atmosphere as part of our Cafe, Greeter, Parking, or Host Teams, leading the next generation toward Jesus through Chapelhill Kids or Chapelhill Youth, supporting others in their spiritual journey through Prayer, providing Transportation to foster God-centered Community, or enhancing the worship experience with the Production and Worship Teams, we work as one family. Together, we continually advance the Kingdom of God with dedication and purpose.

Growth Track is a class designed to help you connect to the life of our church from learning more about the culture and values of Chapelhill to discovering and fulfilling your God-given purpose. Respond to Scheduling Requests
To ensure every service runs smoothly, we ask all Dream Teamers to confirm their scheduling requests in Planning Center as soon as possible. Your prompt response helps us plan effectively and provide the best experience for all people.

Preservice Prayer
Preservice Prayer is a time when we gather in Dream Team Central to align our hearts with the mission of Chapelhill Church. It's a powerful moment of unity, worship, and intercession as we seek God together and prepare to serve with purpose and passion.
Join a Dream Team Huddle
Dream Teamers are encouraged to join our huddle at 9:15 a.m. This 10-minute huddle sets the tone for our day and is a great opportunity for encouragement and and aligning our heart with the vision of Chapelhill church. The huddle is held in Dream Team Central.

Dream Team Personal Appearance Dress Standard
We who have the privilege of serving at Chapelhill Church also have the responsibility of setting the example in leadership, which includes our dress. Since we are observed more closely than others are, we set a standard of excellence in personal appearance. Dream Team’s appearance reflects not only the individual but also our church. Dream Teamers should dress as to achieve a positive image when representing both Chapelhill and the Lord. Our dress standard is more polished than casual wear, and gives a clean, casual, and trendy appearance.
Men
• Always be well groomed, clean and neat
• Collared shirts, sweaters, quality crew necks, or ¼ zip are preferred
• Clothing should be wrinkle free
Women
• Always be well groomed, clean and neat
• Modesty is the guiding principle for women's dress
• Clothing should be wrinkle free
Unacceptable dress includes:
• Flip flops or bare feet
• Excessively worn, faded, torn (no holes above the knee) jeans or pants
• Athletic sweatshirts and sweat suits
• Immodest necklines, skirts, or dresses
• Any clothing with secular messages or slogans
• Tight-fitted or revealing clothing
• Spandex/Leggings with shirts that do not hit mid-thigh

LEADERSHIP STRUCTURE
Each ministry within the Dream Team follows a leadership structure: Director > Coach > Team Member. Every Dream Team Leader is here to serve and equip you to make a difference in the lives of others.
What is a Director?
Directors are pastors or staff leaders who oversee the ministry department.
What is a Coach?
Each ministry is lead by a Coach who uphold Chapelhill’s culture and values and ensures new team members are trained and onboarded effectively.
What is a Team Member?
It’s you! Every member of the Dream Team is a vital part of the great work God is doing at Chapelhill. We all belong to the body of Christ, and each of us has a unique role to play.

Our team brings a personal touch to our worship experience by welcoming people to Chapelhill at the auditorium entrance. We serve people by handing out event cards, assisting with seating, and helping with service elements such as passing offering Containers and distributing communion elements.

Our team directs people on and off the property by providing a safe and efficient parking experience.
NEXT GENERATION CHAPELHILL KIDS
GOAL: Lead kids into a growing relationship with Jesus, through an emphasis of three simple truths: Jesus loves me, Jesus died for me, and Jesus made me for a purpose.
TEAM COMMITMENT RESPONSIBILITY
NURSERY Once Or Twice A Month
Our team provides care for families with babies ages 6 months to 2 years. In addition to holding, rocking, and playing with them, we minister to the children—showing them the love of Jesus—while giving parents the opportunity to fully engage in the worship experience.

Our team introduces children ages 3-5 to Jesus through Bible stories, worship, prayer, hands-on activities, and personal interactions. We have the honor of helping children discover that God loves them, has a purpose for their life, and that church is fun!

Our team provides prayer for members, worship experiences, leaders, teams, and ministries at Chapelhill.

Our team prepares the way for baptism by guiding people relationally and practically, making sure their experience is thoughtful, clear, and meaningful.
Our leaders are trained to be disciple-makers. Through small groups we build Godhonoring relationships, while leading others in a growing relationship with Jesus.

GROWTH TRACK FACILITATOR

Our team is responsible for guiding participants through Growth Track, creating an engaging and relational environment that helps people discover their design, grow in their faith, and take their next step in becoming part of the church family.
NEW LIFE FACILITATOR

Our team is responsible for leading a discipleship course designed to help new and out of practice believers grow in the basics of following Jesus. Each week, we guide participants in learning how to be with Jesus, become like Jesus, and do what Jesus did—creating a clear and relational environment for discipleship.

LEADERSHIP HONOR CODE
We desire to maintain a profound respect for the role of leadership and have created this Honor Code to enable us all to preserve the standard in which God has called us to as followers of Him.
As servant leaders at Chapelhill Church, we are called to cultivate and demonstrate mature Christian behavior. This should form the foundation of your desire to serve in a leadership role here. In our service to the Body of Christ and the community, we must aim to uphold Biblical standards in every situation. Our conduct as Christians is crucial, as it profoundly influences how others perceive Christ.
Exemplifying the highest moral commitment, leaders at Chapelhill Church are to maintain a disciplined life of personal devotion in reading God’s Word, prayer, fasting, and faithful attendance in weekend services. You must also refrain from such things as:
• Drunkeness (Ephesians 5:18)
• Dishonest gain (Proverbs 28:20, Proverbs 11:1, Proverbs 13:11)
• Illegal Drugs (1 Corinthians 6:19-20)
• Posting to social media things that would reflect negatively on the church, on others, and/or on you as a leader (1 Thessalonians 5:22)
• Pornography (Colossians 3:5, Ephesians 5:3, 1 John 2:16)
• Sexual Immorality (1 Thessalonians 4:3-5, 1 Corinthians 6:18)
• All behaviors which might cause Christ to grieve, and others to stumble (1 Corinthians 8:13)
If certain principles are dishonored, it is crucial to engage in a discussion regarding the necessary steps for progressing in leadership. The goal isn’t shame. The goal is grace. The end goal isn’t removal. The end goal is restoration.
The weight and responsibility that leadership holds within our community makes the moral commitment of each leader so vital within the Chapelhill Church family. We should regard it as an essential part of our development, not as an imposition or restriction. By example, we lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
ABUSE POLICY ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
I understand that Chapelhill is a safe place for children and vulnerable adults and that Chapelhill complies with all Federal and State laws regarding reporting suspected child abuse.
As a Dream Team member, I understand that suspected abuse is to be reported to the staff director or pastor who oversees the area in which I serve. I also understand the four types of abuse defined below:
• Physical: A physical act directed at a child or vulnerable adult that causes injury.
• Sexual: Contact or interactions between a child and an adult, or another child, when the child is being used for sexual stimulation of the perpetrator or another person. This includes exploitation through photographs, videos, or other communication methods.
• Emotional: Acts or omissions by the parent or other caregivers that have caused, or could cause, serious behavioral, cognitive, emotional, or mental disorders.
• Neglect: Failure to provide for the child or vulnerable adult’s basic needs. This includes adequate adult supervision, medical attention, housing, food, and clothing. Most cases of physical neglect involve adult supervision that has caused harm to the child or vulnerable adult, or places them in danger of such harm.
I understand it is not my responsibility to investigate and in no instance will I confront a parent or care giver if abuse is suspected. As a Dream Team member, I agree to comply with this policy and report any suspected abuse to the staff person who oversees the area in which I serve.
