COUNSELORS IN TRAINING (CIT)
Ages 13 - 16

The CIT Program gives youth the opportunity to build leadership skills while supporting YMCA Camp programs. Selected through an interview process, CITs assist counselors with daily camp activities, help plan and run events, and participate in service-learning projects while earning volunteer hours. Mandatory CIT training takes place the week of June 22–26.

Give your child a summer full of confidence and adventure! In this action-packed program, campers learn water safety, rescue basics, swim technique, and teamwork — all through fun, hands-on activities led by certified lifeguards. Kids will also participate to test in certified CPR & First Aid Training certification.

Grab your sneakers and run the bases! Our Kickball Camp mixes classic playground fun with skill-building, teamwork, and confidence. Campers practice kicking, pitching, base running, and fielding through energetic drills, mini-games, and scrimmages. Everyone leaves proud, motivated, and ready for the next game!

Gear up and hit the pavement! Our Street Hockey Camp helps young players build skills, teamwork, and confidence through fun, fast-paced drills. Each day ends with a scrimmage, giving campers real game experience and plenty of chances to shine.

Serve, swing, and rally! Our Paddle Sports Camp introduces campers to tennis, pickleball, and racquetball while building skills, coordination, and teamwork. Each day includes fun drills, challenges, and friendly matches, giving every player a chance to improve and enjoy the game!
Lace up your cleats! Our Soccer Camp helps young athletes build skills and have fun. With a focus on teamwork, technique, and game IQ, campers learn essential fundamentals such as dribbling, passing, shooting, footwork, and defensive strategy. Whether new or experienced, every player leaves confident, inspired, and energized!
Y Splash Camp combines the fun of traditional day camp with swimming, water safety, and skill-building for all ages and ability levels. Campers are swim-tested and receive age- and skill-appropriate instruction from certified water safety instructors and lifeguards. When not in the pool, campers enjoy classic camp activities like arts and crafts and themed fun.

Clay Creators gives campers a hands-on introduction to working with clay through fun, age-appropriate projects. Kids will learn basic techniques such as hand-building, shaping, carving, and stamping as they create their own unique pieces. Guided by supportive counselors, campers develop creativity, fine motor skills, and confidence while enjoying a relaxed, artistic environment where imagination and self-expression are encouraged all week long.
DANCE CAMP

Fee: $260/week
This high-energy camp gives aspiring dancers the perfect place to shine! Campers will receive guided instruction in choreographed dance, and the fundamentals of different styles of dance—all in a fun, supportive environment. Throughout the week, they’ll work together to build skills, boost confidence, and master a routine that will be performed for families and fellow campers at the end of each session. Get ready to twirl, leap, and dance your heart out! There will be a performance at the end of the week to showcase all the fun they had.

The Summer Dance Academy is an immersive, high-energy program designed for dancers of all ages and skill levels who want to enhance their technique, explore new styles, and fuel their passion for dance. Whether your child is a beginner or an advanced dancer, this camp offers a nurturing and creative environment for them to grow, learn, and shine. With professional instructors and a diverse range of dance styles, campers will have the opportunity to develop their skills, express themselves through movement, and build confidence.

Get your campers paint brushes ready! This onsite camp will explore different techniques in painting! Campers will get to use fun tools to explore the colorful opportunities in making art! Please make sure your camper is dressed in older clothes, because this camp is sure to be messy!
ROBOTICS CAMP
Ages: 8 - 12
Fee: $410/week
Introducing a camp for the engineers and builders of the future! This weeklong camp will teach campers the fundamental concepts of robotics, as they make basic robots to perform a variety of functions. The lessons taught at Robotics Camp will give your camper a head-start toward being successful in any future technology-based class. It will also help them build a love for science and technology that could guide them into a lifelong passion for STEM.
WILD ABOUT SCIENCE CAMP

Calling all curious minds! Wild About Science camp is an exciting, handson adventure where campers explore the wonders of the natural world. From crazy experiments and chemical reactions to discovering the secrets of animals, plants, and the environment, every day is packed with learning and fun. Campers will conduct experiments, ask big questions, and uncover the science behind the amazing world around them. Get ready to explore, discover, and become totally wild about science!
SLEEPAWAY CAMP
YOUTH OVERNIGHT CAMP (JULY 19 - 24)

At Sleepaway Camp at Lake Sequoia, the adventure never stops! Campers stay in cabins at night and spend their days immersed in nature, enjoying activities like hiking, sports, crafts, and water recreation. They’ll return home with new friends and an adventurous spirit.
CIT CAMP Age 17 Fee: $505
The Counselor-in-Training (CIT) Program helps teens develop the skills needed to become camp counselors and strong employees. This program offers a unique opportunity to build leadership skills by assisting counselors with younger campers and gaining hands-on experience in a camp setting.
CITs are chosen through an application and interview process, with space limited to 10 participants. To apply, teens must register online and pay a camp deposit. If not selected, the YMCA will refund the deposit.
Transportation to Youth Overnight Camp departs from Ventura Family YMCA, 3760 Telegraph Road, Ventura, CA 93003. A $250 deposit is required at time of registration.
FAMILY CAMP SEQUOIA
(AUGUST 1 - 7)
Join us for a week-long family adventure packed with fun and new experiences! Enjoy activities like hiking, swimming, canoeing, rock climbing, fishing, paddle boarding, campfires, or simply relaxing with a good book.
The package includes six nights of lodging, meals, morning kids’ camps, arts and crafts, the YMCA Rag Program, and more. Pricing covers accommodations and activities for up to four family members.

YMCA Summer Camp is ACA accredited! ACA Accreditation means that your child’s summer camp cares enough to undergo a thorough peer review of its operation — from staff qualifications and training to emergency management. American Camp Association collaborates with experts from the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Red Cross, and other youth-serving agencies to assure that current practices at your child’s camp reflect the most up-to-date, research-based standards in camp operation.
We will utilize the BLASTING INTO SUMMER curriculum at all of our Day Camp locations this summer. This licensed program combines learning, adventure, and fun and ensures that campers have an unforgettable camp experience that ignites their passions, fosters personal growth, and creates lifelong memories. The building blocks of the BLASTING curriculum include: Belonging, Literacy, Arts, STEM, Team-Building, Imagination, Nature and Gross Motor Activities. Camp Staff have selected various BLASTING modules to accompany our fun camp themes.
