THE HOPE OF THE WORLD We believe the local church is the hope of the world. Here at home, around Houston, and across the globe, our church is working to bring the light and love of Jesus to people everywhere. The Bible encourages those who are blessed to bless others. Through Champions Give, we can feed the hungry, serve the hurting, and build the church. In the next year, our efforts will reach thousands of people. We are pushing forward to serve and invest more than ever to bring help that transforms lives, changes families, and shapes eternity. Our vision is great because the need is great. In the following pages, you will see how you can help make a difference in our city and across the world. It will take each of us to reach everyone. Let’s continue to be a church that is quick to help those in need and see more people come to know Jesus. Together, we can accomplish great things! With love,
Chase and Liliya Senior Pastors, Champions Church

SERVING OUR CITY
BUILDING IMPACTING OUR CHURCH OUR WORLD
Through various local outreaches and ministries within our community and city, we faithfully serve the practical needs of our neighbors.
Because the House of God is meant to be a place of excellence and magnificence, we invest in projects that build and advance the church both practically through first-class facilities and spiritually through strategic ministries.
CHAMPIONS GIVE 2027
In order to fulfill our mandate to reach the world and expand God’s kingdom, we partner with Christian missions organizations that are making a difference for Jesus around the earth.

SERVING OUR CITY
CHAMPIONS OUTREACH EFFORTS — $25,000 We have always been about serving the neighborhood God has placed us in. Pastor Steve, our Founding Pastor, used to say, “If we are going to represent Jesus in our community, our community should be better because we’re here.” Each year, we work to strengthen our community through outreach and servant evangelism, including Smart Camp and our annual holiday food giveaway. Through Champions Give, we hope to offset some of the costs of these efforts. Supporting these efforts helps us keep serving our neighborhood in practical ways. SCHOOL PARTNERSHIPS — $10,000 Part of making our community better is partnering with those who serve the people of our community. Klein Forest High School athletics relies on community support for students who participate in sports at every level. Through a partnership with the athletics department, we can help provide uniforms and other necessary equipment for local student-athletes. We also partner with local schools by hosting teacher appreciation breakfasts at Klein Forest and Wunderlich, serving hundreds of faculty and staff with breakfast and coffee at each event, including an additional breakfast for Klein Forest staff at the start of this school year. These partnerships encourage students and show appreciation to the teachers who serve them every day. CHAMPIONS GIVE 2027
PARTNERSHIP WITH LOCAL CHRISTIAN MINISTRIES — $10,000 In 2027, we intend to partner with local Christian organizations that serve our community in meaningful ways. Hope Haven’s mission is to help people experiencing homelessness find a path off the streets, offer continued support, and mentor them as they become contributing members of the community. Elijah Rising’s mission is to end sex trafficking in Houston; since its founding in 2012, it has intervened with over 800 survivors. Alongside these partnerships, we will continue our own outreach efforts, including SMART Camp and our annual holiday food giveaway. Partnering this way multiplies our ability to serve neighbors both through our own efforts and through trusted local organizations.

BUILDING OUR CHURCH FUND BIG DAYS — $75,000 Big Days are our strategy for reaching people for Jesus by creating natural invite opportunities for church members. They include Football Sunday, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Best Sunday Ever, and Candypalooza. These particular Sundays have a significant impact. Although they make up only about 12% of the Sundays in a year, Big Days account for 35% of our first-time guests and 43% of our new followers of Jesus. Funding these days helps us reach more people with the message of Jesus. SPECIAL NEEDS MINISTRY — $60,000 Our goal in developing the Champions Club is to minister more effectively to children with disabilities or special needs by creating an engaging learning environment. It will feature designated sections for activities, learning, lounging, and exercising motor skills. Children will learn about Jesus from trained team members using a curriculum designed just for them.

NEXT GEN AUDIO IMPROVEMENTS — $50,000 The Next Gen auditorium has never had a sound system designed for it. Since the building opened, kids and students have used equipment pieced together over the years. Speakers sit too low, overwhelm the room, and fight the echo. It is loud, but it is not clear or pleasant. New speakers, monitors, amps, cabling, and acoustic panels will change that. The result will be a clearer, more immersive environment where kids and students can hear the message and sing without the noise getting in the way. Investing here removes the distractions so the next generation can hear and respond clearly.

PARKING LOT, PHASE ONE — $25,000 It has been several years since the parking stripes and emergency lanes were painted, and the lines are faded and worn. We have invested real effort into the inside of the building, but the first impression is still outside. This phase refreshes the striping and emergency lanes, adds handicapped spaces, and updates the small signs at the CK entrances so they match the monument sign by the street. A clearer, better-kept lot makes arriving easier and sets a better tone before anyone walks through the door. This project helps every guest and family feel welcomed from the moment they pull in. PARKING LOT, PHASE TWO — $TBD Recent growth has made the parking lot our first real limit. We need about 100 more spaces to hold everyone for each service, and the Dream Team has been parking in the grass behind the building so guests can use the lot. This phase adds 100 or more spaces so both those who serve and those who attend have room. More parking removes the pinch point and makes room for the church to keep growing. Supporting this phase removes a barrier so more people can gather and the church can continue to grow. CHAMPIONS CHURCH
ONE MONTH OPERATING EXPENSES IN RESERVE — $175,000 Our long-term goal is six months of operating expenses in reserve. We have never had that kind of financial foundation. This year we are taking the step of setting aside one month and building from there. A reserve does not show up the way a new sound system or a refreshed parking lot does, but it may be the most important investment we make. It allows us to do the work of ministry without every surprise becoming a crisis and gives us the stability to respond when an opportunity arises. Financial strength is what helps turn the vision into reality. LOBBY EXPANSION — $500,000 Over the last several years, we have experienced significant growth, enabling us to reach more people than ever before. We have created more space by adding services, bringing in additional chairs, opening classrooms, designating Dream Team parking, and more. We hope to create more space for connection, fellowship, and relationships by expanding the church lobby. This will involve removing a side wall and the front wall to enlarge the space, along with new flooring in common areas such as hallways and restrooms. Expanding the lobby gives people more room to connect and belong.

IMPACTING OUR WORLD
IMA’S HOME — $15,000 Ima’s Home, an orphanage in the Philippines, has provided a place of safety and love in Christ for over 150 children, enabling them to find freedom from their past, discover their purpose, and ultimately make a difference in their community and nation. Ima’s Home is building a new facility that will double its capacity, allowing it to rescue more children from the streets of Manila. They are also developing a third campus to house those rescued from human trafficking. Supporting Ima’s Home helps more children find safety, purpose, and a future in Christ. VAPOR MINISTRIES — $15,000 Vapor Ministries exists to bring life to communities affected by extreme poverty. Vapor operates multiple ministry centers in various countries, serving hundreds of thousands of people every week and employing hundreds of indigenous staff members. Each year, Vapor Ministries provides tens of millions of cups of clean water, hundreds of thousands of meals, and health services to thousands of people in desperate need. Supporting this work helps bring practical hope and lasting change to communities facing extreme hardship.

CHAMPIONS MISSIONS EFFORTS — $15,000 Over the last several years, we have sent teams to serve in missions both locally and internationally. These teams have completed significant construction projects and community service both nationally and internationally. Next year, we hope to send more people into the mission field—within our city, our nation, and around the world. Investing here makes it possible for more people to take part in serving both here and around the world.

PEOPLE ARE THE POINT
HERE’S ANOTHER WAY TO PUT IT: YOU’RE HERE TO BE LIGHT, BRINGING OUT THE GOD-COLORS IN THE WORLD. GOD IS NOT A SECRET TO BE KEPT. WE’RE GOING PUBLIC WITH THIS, AS PUBLIC AS A CITY ON A HILL. IF I MAKE YOU LIGHT-BEARERS, YOU DON’T THINK I’M GOING TO HIDE YOU UNDER A BUCKET, DO YOU? I’M PUTTING YOU ON A LIGHT STAND. NOW THAT I’VE PUT YOU THERE ON A HILLTOP, ON A LIGHT STAND—SHINE! KEEP OPEN HOUSE; BE GENEROUS WITH YOUR LIVES. BY OPENING UP TO OTHERS, YOU’LL PROMPT PEOPLE TO OPEN UP WITH GOD, THIS GENEROUS FATHER IN HEAVEN. MATTHEW 5:14–16 MSG
