Builder Service Authorization Process Service Authorization is used to pay/reimburse builder for warranty service work. Builders MUST follow the process below for Champion Modular to accept their on-site service invoices/bills. 1. Identify the service issue. 2. Report issue to the Service Department contacts listed below. (Phone and/or Email) 3. Service Manager will determine if this is a factory service issue. 4. If it is a factory service issue, the builder must submit an estimated cost prior to starting the work. The Service Manager will provide a service authorization number. The service authorization number must be attached to the invoice at the time of submission for payment. 5. If the builder does not follow this process, Champion Modular has the right to deny payment. 6. Exceptions – Builder needs to contact the Service Department immediately if there is a set/weather tight issue. If the builder needs to fix immediately and cannot connect with the Service Department he may proceed to protect the home from further damage. (If the issue is found not to be a factory service issue, Champion Modular has the right to deny payment)
