2021 COACHING STAFF ANTOINE TORREY VARSITY HEAD COACH This year marks Coach Torrey’s 10th season as head coach at Chaminade. Torrey currently has a career coaching record of 89-48 and a Chaminade coaching record of 55-29. After a shortened 2020 season due to Covid-19 restrictions, Torrey is hoping to lead the Red Devils to their third consecutive District Championship. There is a great deal of excitement about the strength of this 2021 team led by 10 seniors and several very talented juniors. In addition to his duties as head football coach, Torrey coaches wrestling, teaches physical education in the high school, is the Physical Education Department Chair and a mentor in the O’Donnell House. Prior to his tenure at Chaminade, Torrey attended Lindbergh High School before moving with his family to Denver. He graduated from Western State College of Colorado in 1995, where he received his BA in Education with an emphasis in Kinesiology. He holds a MA degree in Education Administration from Lindenwood University. At Western State College, Torrey was an all-conference defensive tackle in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference and helped lead the Mountaineers to an 8-2 regular season record in 1994. Coach Torrey and his wife, Nerissa, have been married for 23 years and are the proud parents of 22-year old, Ayana and Chaminade freshman, Isaiah.
