Health Care Forum to be held October 20th
The Washington County Chamber of Commerce will host a Health Care Forum on Thursday, October 20th at Blinn College. Dr. Tiffany J. Berry, Vice President of Primary Care – Baylor Scott & White, will be the keynote speaker at the luncheon. In addition, there will be an expert panel on hand following the keynote to answer additional questions from the audience. The panel consists of Jason Jennings, President of Baylor Scott & White Health College Station Region; Dr. Eric Alford, BSWH Family Medicine/Regional Medical Director; and Dr. Seth Sullivan, BSWG Infectious Disease. Dr. Tiffany Berry is originally from Mississippi. She attended medical school at the Mississippi School of Medicine in Jackson and eventually found her home in Texas when she attended residency at Scott & White Family Medicine Residency in Temple. Upon completion of residency, she became a family medicine staff physician at Baylor Scott & White and eventually transitioned into a series of administrative roles including: System Medical Director of Quality and Patient Safety, Chief Quality Officer, Chief Patient Experience Officer, and CMO/SVP of Population Health & CMO of the Baylor
Scott & White Health Quality Alliance. In 2019, Dr. Berry was named one of Modern Healthcare’s Up and Comers, a highly distinguished honor recognizing her work within the BSWH Quality Alliance. Today, Dr. Berry serves as the System Vice-President of Primary Care for the entire Baylor Scott & White Health System. In this role, she is working to improve the teams and the technologies our primary care providers use to take better care of patients and truly meet them where they are. Dr. Berry is also the mother of five amazing kids and way too many dogs! The luncheon begins at 11:30 a.m. in The Blinn College Student Center - Janis Sneed Ballroom in Brenham.
