DETROIT — A plea deal is likely in the case of Edmond Doheny, the Grosse Pointe Woods man accused of murdering his younger brother, Dennis Doheny, in the early morning hours of Oct. 6. At a final conference hearing in the case March 13 in front of 3rd Circuit Court Judge Kevin Cox in Detroit, attorneys on both sides told the judge that they were engaged in talks for a plea agreement. “There’s been a preliminary offer made,” Assistant Wayne County Prosecutor James Ke-

With curb and gutter repairs slated to happen the week of March 18, road base work scheduled for the week of April 8 and paving the week of April 15, officials needed to act quickly to address the problem. The See NEFF on page 5A
