LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT
Dear Friends,
We are so very grateful for your faithfulness in helping us advance the mission of Christian Family Care this past year.
It was a good year, as CFC was blessed to experience a 26% increase in the children and families we served. What a great blessing as several adults and children accepted the love of Jesus Christ, experienced healing in their lives, and overcame pain from prior abuse and neglect.
We all want our lives to count and be fruitful in our work, and this impact report provides a glimpse of the results your participation with CFC has had on the lives of many children and families. The children and families impacted by our programs this past year came from unimaginably adverse circumstances. Yet God, through the many team members and volunteers of CFC, provided hope and healing, and these children are now flourishing.
Thank you for partnering with us, and I hope you are encouraged as you read through this report. Your steadfast partnership with us in our mission of strengthening families and serving at-risk children in the name of Jesus Christ is critical to our enduring success.

CFC Looks ahead!
CFC joyfully commemorated our 40th anniversary at Wildlife World Zoo alongside nearly 1,500 families and children we serve, expressing deep gratitude and thanksgiving to God for His countless blessings.
Today, we focus on the next decade of ministry. Our staff has proclaimed that 2024 will be the year we focus on being visible witnesses of Christ in our communities.
Our future plans include opening a Community Empowerment Center and a second Family Care KIDS early childhood learning center to reach new families and children. We are also focusing on providing empowerment coaching in local schools and coming alongside more than 60 young adults as they age out of the foster care system.
Your partnership enables us to bring meaningful, transformational generational impact to our communities as we focus on the vision that every child is loved and nurtured in a Christ-centered family.

“This is one of our Youth Permanency kids . After several years in an adoptive home his parents gave him back to the State and said they couldn’t handle him. He was in a group home for two years and at the age of 14 was adopted by a CFC STRONG Family. He gave his life to Christ. Last week, he completed basic training for the Navy. God is good! ”

THERAPEUTIC FOSTER CARE
Therapeutic Foster Care (TFC), formerly Home Care Training to Home Care Client (HCTC), provides inhome care for children and youth ages five and older with severe mental health diagnoses or emotional and behavioral needs.

STRONG Families for Children is a prevention program that offers parents a secure and temporary home for their children while minimizing the risk of abuse or neglect while giving parents the time to help their families thrive.

FAMILY COACHING
Family Coaching provides our community partners with community-based skill-building sessions for parents and caregivers to help families cope with the stresses of daily life through the lens of trauma and attachment work.
We welcomed a new partnership with Phoenix Christian Preparatory School
MENTORING
Our mentoring program provides vulnerable youth, young adults, and young parents with a mentor who will have a consistent presence in their lives. Mentees receive support, encouragement, and guidance from a stable adult who has a strong relationship with Jesus.
