You Helped Max Learn About Jesus
continued from page 1
Right away, I felt welcomed and supported at Family Care KIDS. I was relieved to qualify for their scholarship program, which made it possible for my son, Max,* to attend. But what truly made the difference was the care and patience of his teachers. Those first weeks were hard—Max cried a lot and had a tough time adjusting to being apart from me. The staff never made us feel like a burden. They allowed me to stay in the classroom until he felt comfortable and gave me the space to support him through the transition. I’ll never forget the day he looked at me and said, “You can go now, Momma.” That was a turning point.

As time went on, Max blossomed. He made friends, grew confident, and developed a genuine love for his teachers and school. But what touched me the most was the spiritual foundation he received. After he graduated and started at his new school, one of the first things he asked his new teacher was, “Can we sing the 'Jesus Loves Me' song?” It brought tears to my eyes. That simple request told me everything: Family Care KIDS had not only cared for my child—they had introduced him to Jesus.
Your generosity makes it possible for children like Max to attend a nurturing school where they can encounter Jesus’ love for the first time. Thank you!

Help Young Children
Start Off on the Right Foot
Many families in Arizona are experiencing financial hardship, impacting young parents seeking Christian care and early education for their preschool-aged children. The cost for one child to attend
Family Care KIDS is approximately $16,000 per year, making it a big ask for many families. That's the reason why our income-based scholarships are a blessing to parents and children who can’t afford this expense. Funding scholarships is

an opportunity to further our Christian witness in the community by supporting families in financial need and helping to cover the funding gap for foster kids.
With your help, each of these children can receive a Christcentered education and personal and family care to help them overcome the traumatic events in their lives and get a start to a flourishing future.
Calling All Prayer Warriors
As you spend time with the Lord individually, would you lift the ministry of CFC up in prayer?
During September, we ask that you pray especially for the protection of Family Care KIDS preschool staff, families, and children; for the development of the children; and for children to come to know Jesus.
Your prayers make an eternal difference. Thank you!

An Exciting New Partnership
Christian Family Care has launched an exciting partnership with the Alhambra Elementary School District.
Alhambra has 17 schools and over 10,000 students, many of whom are refugees or face challenges, including poverty, housing issues, crime, absenteeism, and truancy. CFC is offering complex care training to 600 school staff members to help them work with students who are struggling with trauma and behavioral issues.
This training better equips teachers to understand reasons behind behavior and be proactive in reducing stress in the classroom. Additionally, we work directly with teachers and students in the classroom with interventions to help reduce students’ stress.
This partnership helps thousands of children heal and thrive—and it couldn’t have happened without your generous financial support. Thank you for making a difference in the lives of vulnerable kids!
Letter from the President

This new school year brings big challenges for the vulnerable families in our community.
Many parents desperately want their child to attend a school where they are known and loved and where their unique needs are addressed. But such an education is out of reach for most.
That’s why CFC’s Family Care KIDS
Preschool and our partnership with school districts like Alhambra— which you’ll read more about in this newsletter—are so important.
Through our educational programs, each child is highly valued as an individual uniquely created by God. The approach to each child’s learning is shaped by their unique life experience, interests, and abilities. Teachers are trauma-informed and provide beautiful classroom environments full of children engaged in joyful, playful, and appropriately challenging learning.
Our goal is not just to give knowledge, but to help children and their parents
encounter Christ’s tender love . . . to get the support they need to heal from any wounds, pick themselves up, and try again . . . to have genuine hope for the future, no matter what difficulties they face.
And friends like you make this education possible! Your generosity provides scholarships to children in need, counseling, training for teachers assisting children from broken families, and much more.
Your support makes an eternal impact on families’ lives. One parent told us, “I feel the love of Christ and the peace of the Holy Spirit at this school.” What a tremendous blessing!
Christ told us, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.” Thank you for answering His call and giving children the chance to experience the healing love of Jesus.
