MEET THIS WEEK’S VALUED TEAM MEMBER
I have had the privilege of being a part of the CESA 7 Team for the past 6 years and look forward to many more years to come! Prior to working with CESA 7, I was in a District Special Education Department working closely with records, compliance, and reporting Before working in K12 Education, I worked in Early Childhood Education as a Classroom Teacher, Curriculum Specialist, and then a Child Care Center Director and School Aged Child Care Program Director My passion for child development, education, and community has consistently guided me to roles where I can actively support learning and education for others and within our communities, while also building meaningful relationships and assisting with data analysis and system efficiencies I love seeing the positive impact that educators have and are making each and every day across our state!
As a Software Consultant with CESA 7 and the WiRCC Team, I work directly with districts in Wisconsin that use Infinite Campus as their Student Information System My role is to assist with support cases as well as provide training on tools and modules within the system It is so exciting when I can work with districts to find workable solutions to not only meet their needs, but increase data accuracy and process workflows In addition to overall system support and training, I also lead the Infinite Campus Special Ed User Group for Wisconsin and have been a trainer for Infinite Campus National training events, as well
As a lifetime learner, I hope that my own education journey is one that doesn't end any time soon! I have an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education, along with a Credential for Child Care Administration. Additionally, I have a Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Leadership - with an Emphasis in Human Development from UW-Green Bay. Most recently, I worked to complete a Certificate for Data Analysis from UW-Milwaukee's School of Continuing Education
Outside of work, I am an exceptionally proud mother of two amazing teenage daughters Mya is a High School Senior and will be going on to UW-Stevens Point this fall, and Greta is finishing up her Freshman year of high school, both at Appleton North Together, with my husband John, whom I have been married to for 22 years this October, we are so proud of them both and cannot wait to see what amazing things they accomplish for themselves! Additionally, I love spending time outdoors, being active, and supporting live music and the arts
The Kewaunee School District’s partnership with CESA 7 reflects a strong commitment to continuous improvement in assessment, instruction, literacy, and student support. This year ’ s Assessment Project focused on strengthening assessment and grading practices, alongside districtwide data work that included a summer data retreat, ongoing check-ins, and state and federal accountability reviews to guide priorities. Together, these efforts enhanced the district’s use of evidence to support reflection, instructional decision-making, and long-term planning.
Kewaunee also partnered with CESA 7 for content-area literacy coaching, instructional coaching, and Project AWARE mental health support. Professional learning emphasized disciplinary literacy, co-planning and co-serving, and increasing student engagement As Tracy Ledvina, Elementary School Principal, shared, “Through our work with CESA 7, we have improved our implementation of instructional resources, co-teaching practices, and student engagement strategies Their support has also deepened our use of WIDA Standards to strengthen targeted small group instruction.”
District leadership underscores the broader impact of the partnership. “Partnering with CESA 7 allows a smaller district like Kewaunee to access high-quality expertise, coaching, and resources that would otherwise be difficult to sustain on our own, ” said Superintendent Scott Fritz. “All school districts face increasing expectations, and CESA 7 has been an invaluable partner in helping us meet those demands Their support expands our district’s capacity to strengthen instruction and provide coordinated supports that benefit all students.”
Looking ahead, Kewaunee plans to deepen its data and systems work and join the WiMLSS project, continuing its commitment to strong instruction and the supports students need to succeed
