LynnWagneristheCoordinatoroftheLearningforIndependence(LFI) Program,acollaborativeinitiativebetweenCESA7andNortheast WisconsinTechnicalCollege(NWTC)inGreenBay.
Overherthreeyearsinthisrole,Lynnhasdrivenprogramdevelopmentby collaboratingwithcollegeandhighschooladministrators,referringschool districts,andcommunityagenciesliketheDivisionofVocational Rehabilitation(DVR).SheprovidescomprehensivesupporttoLFI instructorsandworksdirectlywithstudentstoteachcoursesandmeet dailyneeds.
PriortoleadingLFI,Lynnspentover25yearsasanoccupationaltherapist, mostrecentlywiththePulaskiCommunitySchoolDistrict.Sheisalsoa certifiedExecutiveFunctionsConsultant(EFC).Herextensivebackground informsLFI'smissiontohelpstudentsbuildessentialindependentliving, vocational,post-secondaryeducation,social,andemotionalselfregulationskills.ForLynn,themostrewardingaspectofherworkis watchingstudentsbuildlifelongfriendships,autonomy,self-confidence, andself-determinationoncampus.

STRENGTHENING STUDENT SUPPORT SERVICES & HONORING CULTURAL IDENTITY

Oneida Nation School System has a longstanding partnership with 7 grounded in a shared commitment to supporting students, staff culturally responsive practices. Superintendent Shari Mousseau ha shared that she highly values the ongoing professional learning opportunities CESA 7 provides, and Oneida staff have participated onsite and regional trainings to support continued learning and professional growth.
CESA 7 has also partnered with the district to provide itinerant sup services, including deaf and hard-of-hearing services, audiology, an school psychology. Special Education Coordinator Fay Lemense ha a vital partner in strengthening special education supports and collaborating with CESA 7 staff to meet the needs of students and educators.
