STRENGTHENING SEL & BEHAVIOR SUPPORTS DISTRICTWIDE
CESA 7 has partnered with Sturgeon Bay School District to strengthen socialemotional learning and behavior supports through a systems-focused, districtwide approach. The work began with an SEL audit of all schools, offering valuable insight into current practices and guiding next steps.
Following the audit, the partnership has focused on strengthening behavior systems through WiMLSS, alongside ongoing professional learning around SEL at each grade level. This combination of systems alignment and job-embedded learning has helped create greater consistency across schools while supporting educators with practical, developmentally appropriate strategies.
