OUR BYLAWS AND REGULATIONS
All calves must be pedigree registered or birth notified with their respective breeds.
Gates will be open from 7am Saturday with judging commencing at 10am. Friday night facilities will be available from 7pm
Exhibitors are responsible for the safety of their stock and equipment over night and on the day.
No exhibitors or calves can leave the mart until all classes have been completed.
All passports must accompany ALL animals, handing in on arrival to the show desk.
All cattle must be TB pre-movement tested. Bluetongue
We are aware of the concern surrounding the current Bluetongue situation and the uncertainty it presents. We are hopeful as a committee that as the event is being held in the winter months that the restriction will be relaxed or that we will all be under the same rules. We are actively monitoring developments, and we are in communication with APHA to update us with the latest developments. We are also aware that movement restrictions are under constant review and are subject to change. We will be keeping a close eye at the situation closer to the event and we will update exhibitors as soon as we get any information.
Ear tag numbers must be provided with all calf entries along with the breed, and the name of the calf.
The Judge’s decision is final.
All animals are to be adequately halter trained and to be lead in a safe and responsible manner.
The stewards will have the authority to exclude unsafe animals on the site. The 6-day rule will apply.
Movements through the market will be recorded with BCMS relevant to the actual dates of arrival and departure.
All exhibitors must hold a valid liability insurance for the ownership of livestock.
Young handlers must provide their Name and date of birth on the entry forms.
