HIGH POWERS
The “High Powers” project was conceived and designed to meet the need to combine functionality and aesthetics in frames conceived and designed for the optician and his special fitting needs. This line can coexist on various levels of use:
• the adaptation of almost all types of ophthalmic corrections, with a very wide dioptric range for both positive and negative corrections
• the availability to accommodate corrections for low vision with special parameters such as hyper corrective prismatic lenses
• the possibility of combining a dedicated clip-on for the use of special sun or selective filters, appropriately sized and equipped with a unique anchoring system in terms of functionality and aesthetics.
The calibrated and regular size of the rims allows the use of large thickness and small diameter lenses, with some models able to accommodate high power progressive lenses.
The availability of wide fronts and appropriately sized noses ensures excellent comfort and positioning, so that even the small-calib re models of the high dioptres line fit well on non-pupillary faces with interpupillary distances close to the designed gap, which rarely exceeds 65-66 mm.
The materials chosen and the dimensions of the profiles have been selected taking into account ergonomic studies and the best aesthetic and functional performance achieved through laboratory tests, from which continuous design and construction refinement has been derived.

The result of this study was a collection of acetate frames, titanium frames and acetate frames with TR90 clip-ons to meet the need for sun protection.
A highly technical project that led to a design proposal that was specifically studied to offer maximum comfort without compromising aesthetics.
* The dioptres indicated for all the frames in this catalogue refer to laboratory fitting tests carried out with a DP of 62mm. Tests carried out by the ProntOttica laboratory.

The spare parts are the same for all models and the hinges are flex hinges from Visottica chosen to guarantee optimum resistance.
