FROM THE GENERAL MANAGER
As we ease into spring, this season’s calendar is filled with Club favorites— Viewpoints events, Happy Hours, Seafood Night, our Masters Watch Party, and an Opening Day Tailgate as we cheer on the O’s. We’ll also celebrate the spring holidays with a Passover Seder, Easter and Mother’s Day brunches, and plenty of fresh seasonal features from our culinary team.
Nicholas Steege General Manager The Center Club
I’m pleased to share the launch of an important initiative designed to help shape our Club’s future. After thoughtfully reviewing several highly qualified firms, we have selected the McMahon Group, a nationally recognized leader in member research and planning for private clubs. Their expertise and collaborative approach will help us gather meaningful feedback and turn it into clear, actionable direction for the years ahead.
This is an exciting season for our Club.
This survey is one of the most important tools we have to better understand your experiences, expectations, and vision for our Club. Your perspective truly matters, and we hope you will take the time to participate. Following the survey, the McMahon Group will analyze the results and identify key themes and opportunities. We look forward to sharing a high-level overview of the findings at our Annual Club Meeting on June 3.
While this work will help guide our future, the heart of our Club remains. It’s an exciting season for our Club—one that balances thoughtful planning with the traditions and gatherings that bring us together. Thank you for being an engaged and valued part of our community.
The process will begin with a series of small group discussions facilitated by McMahon Group representatives and including members, staff, and Board representatives. These conversations will inform the next phase: a comprehensive member survey. Drawing from the focus groups, industry insights, and trends in club life, the McMahon Group will develop a survey that will be distributed to all Center Club members and remain open for approximately one month.
