02 Everyday Life Sketch Notes with Friends
Drawing a sketch in moments of free time can help calm a restless mind. The repetitive act of hatching is especially soothing, particularly when you focus on carefully shaping an object.
Capturing small moments of the people around you through drawing can be a joyful experience. Giving such a sketch to them at a special moment not only brings back shared memories, but also becomes a meaningful surprise and a thoughtful gift.
These are cartoon-style characters created digitally using a graphics tablet, each designed based on photographs of my friends.
I translated my friends’ features and personalities into stylized illustrations, experimenting with colors, and incorporated their feedback to ensure the characters captured their likeness and playful essence.

Sketching architecture and small scenes aroundme allows me to slow down and observe the world more closely.Through quick lines and careful attention to form, I can capture both the structure of a space and the fleeting moments that give it life.
A series of decorative paintings using acrylics and collage techniques to explore warm and cool colors. The series consists of three paintings: one featuring fruits and vegetables in cool tones, one in warm tones, and a third combining both, depicting cartoon characters gathered around a stage watching a performance. The characters’ clothing is made from fabric cutouts. The stage presents the famous Journey to the West scene, “The Three Battles with the White Bone Demon,” with the performers’ poses and forms inspired by shadow puppetry.
In the warm and cool paintings, the cartoon characters’ costumes draw inspiration from traditional Hanfu.
