Henry Wright was born on August 23, 1969 to Jessie Wright and Hershal Henry Harris. He dedicated his life to Christ at an early age under the spiritual leadership of reverend Lafayette at St. James Baptist church in Baton Rouge Louisiana. He was a man of many words who was very crafty. If it was something that he couldn't do, he always knew someone who could. He was a role model to many and would keep you laughing with his conspiracy theories, sound effects and made up words. Most importantly he was a protector who didn't fear anything and would share his last to help his fellow man. He was an avid gardener and an all around outdoorsman who loved spending time with his family and friends. Henry was called to eternal rest on April 3rd, 2023 at the age of 53. He leaves to cherish his loving memories: five daughters, Kelli (Rodney) Domino, Courtney Stewart, Hannah, Oenryell and Ornay Wright, his loving mother, Jesse Wright, stepfather, Joe Costley, one sister, Karen (Keith) Kornbacher and one brother, Troy Winchester. Three grandsons, Aaceson and Messiah Livous, and Raylen Domino, his beloved dog Isis, and a host of family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Herschel, daughter Jessica, two brothers Frederick and Joseph, two grandchildren Mi'kell and Micah, and both paternal and maternal grandparents. Though Henry was taken at an early age he definitely lived a full life. We are certain that it is his wish for all of us to do the same, for we not know the day nor hour.

To my little brother Henry Wright, my heart is broken. Nothing in this life could have prepared me for losing you this soon. Never in a million years would I have thought that Saturday would have been our last and final time speaking. I waited to see you Sunday, but you never showed up. So now we have come to a close on our early morning texts and our all day conversations with me, you and Kenny (three amigos). All I have left are memories of us growing up, not as first cousins, but real brothers. I am glad I was able to witness the great man that you had become. Nothing else could have made us any closer. My heart is deeply broken, and our chain now has a missing link. Know that as long as I have breath in my body, your name and legacy will always live through me. I will forever be there for the girls, as you would have done for me. So, until the gates open, the trumpets play, and God calls me home, I will forever miss you little brother.
