LADY TIGERS 18-4 SEASON ENDS IN REGIONAL SEMIFINALS
The Rising Sun Lady Tigers finished their season on Monday night in an 52-51 loss in overtime to the Harford Tech Cobras. Rising Sun’s 11-0 start of the season had many people thinking of Championship run at Christmas but the new year brought
matchups with Fallston, Havre de Grace and North Harford who would give the Lady Tigers their only losses on the season. The Tigers came into the Regional playoffs sitting in the number two seed behind North Harford and had a bye in the quarterfinals.
The #3 seed Harford Tech Cobras eliminated the Elkton Golden Elks on Friday 62-22 to give Rising Sun a challenge to make the SemiFinals round. The #4 Fallston Cougars traveled to the #1 seed North Harford Hawks on Monday night. The Cougars
were able to get the 39-23 win over the Hawks moving the Cougars into the Regional Finals. The Cougars will now travel to Harford Tech on Wednesday in a battle of the #3 and #4 seeds for the Regional Championship.
