Welcome to Magnifying Abilities Magnifying Abilities is a social/recreational program for adults with intellectual and physical disabilities. The program is designed to enhance community involvement and lifelong learning of people with disabilities. Individuals who participate in the program reside within Carver and Scott County.

If you would prefer your image not be shared, please indicate on the registration form or email meyers@district112.org to make your request. Due to privacy concerns, we ask all participants, attending staff and family members to refrain from sharing photos of or tagging other MA participants on social media without their direct consent.

Volunteer With Us!
If you are looking for an opportunity to be involved in the community, consider volunteering with Magnifying Abilities! We invite individuals 16 and older, with a friendly attitude and a willingness to get to know amazing people with disabilities in your community, to help provide support at our events! The time commitment is short (typically less than 2 hours) and we have a lot of fun!! Attending family members of participants willing to be an “official” event volunteer are asked to contact MA staff regarding upcoming opportunities. Transportation
Magnifying Abilities now offers transportation to Bingo Night and select special events for individuals otherwise unable to attend activities. Options may include pick-up / drop-off at a central location near you or at your address. Limited spots available. We may not be able to accommodate all requests. Individuals must be able to attend MA events independently to utilize transportation.
