Magnifying Abilities For adults with unique learning abilities

Summer 2024

Welcome to Magnifying Abilities Magnifying Abilities is a social/recreational program for persons 16 and older with intellectual and physical disabilities. The program is designed to enhance community involvement and lifelong learning of people with disabilities. Individuals who participate in the program reside within Carver and Scott County.

Transportation

Magnifying Abilities provides very limited transportation to our events. Occasional bus/van transportation may be offered from our facilities to a field trip location. Participants in need of transportation are encouraged to contact local transportation agencies to arrange individual transportation. We love to capture photos at our events and share them on our social media platforms! However, we NEVER share names of individuals. If you would prefer your image not be shared, please indicate on the registration form. If you register online, feel free to email meyers@district112.org to make your request. Due to privacy concerns, we ask all participants, attending staff and family members to refrain from sharing photos of or tagging other participants on social media without their direct consent.
