Welcome to the 2026 Colorado Dragon Boat Festival! I’m Sara Moore, Executive Director of Colorado Dragon Boat, the 501(c)(3) nonprofit behind this incredible celebration of Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) cultures and communities. For more than 25 years, this festival has brought people together to celebrate the amazing accomplishments and contributions the AANHPI community brings to Colorado through food, music, art, family, culture, and the excitement of dragon boat racing. Today, CDBF has grown into the largest AANHPI celebration in the Rocky Mountain region and the largest Dragon Boat Festival in the United States. All because of the incredible community that supports it. This weekend, enjoy the delicious flavors of Asia through our Taste of Asia Food courts, discover local businesses in our Marketplace, experience performances across three stages, bring the family to Dragonland, and cheer on the teams racing on Sloan’s Lake. And when you grab a drink, know that beverage sales directly support Colorado Dragon Boat and participating local nonprofits, helping fund programs and community events throughout the year. This festival would not be possible without our sponsors, vendors, performers, race teams, community partners, volunteers, and the City and County of Denver. Our mission is simple: to build bridges of awareness, knowledge, and understanding between the diverse AANHPI communities and the general public through cultural education, leadership development, and athletic competition.
