Building 19's mini-market opened Tuesday to an enthusiastic crowd of first-day shoppers. Bd. of Directors Meeting Is Open to
The Riverbay Board of Directors meeting in Co-op City on March 10 will be open to all cooperators. It is not a private meeting with the Advisory Council.

Thursday Advisory Council elections for Buildings 12, 13 and 14 are scheduled for Thursday, February 25th in Auditorium A of the Community Center. The polls will be open from 4 to 8 P.M. Be1ow is a tentative list of candidates: Building 12 Loretta Arons, 19E; Trudi Danz, lOL; Velma Garner, 10M; Reginald Holder, 8H; Murray Heisler, 9G; Bill Maidonado, 22L; Al Sanchez,· 33E; Ina Selesnow, 30C; Bernard Seinfeld, 7B; Michael Ward, 20J; Albert Young, 17L. Since only four candidates are running for the Council in Building 14, it can be assumed that they will serve on the Council. In other AC election news, Buildings 22, 25, and the Town Houses of Section One will elect their councilmen March 4th.
The meeting will include a report on finances and operations of the cooperative and formal installation of resident Board Members Julius Palmer and Rabbi Cohen. Board agreement to make the report to all cooperators at an open meeting came in response to a Public Information Committee proposal which was approved unanimously by the full Council last month and stipulated that the meeting would be open to all cooperators.

Action is expected at Monday's Advisory Council meeting on the Inter-Community Committee's Monorail Proposal.
The proposal also stipulated that implementation of the resolution be fully discussed and approved by the total Cooperative through the vehicle of a Town HaH type meeting.
Alan Zachary, committee chairman, proposed at the Council's last meeting that the Council "advise the North American Monorail Corporation that the Council would consider the establishment of a monorail system for Co-op City and the Northeast Bronx only with the guarantee that it would take passengers into the working areas of Manhattan without connecting with the established subway systems now serving N ort he a st Bronx."

The committee's included a map of the proposed route and a list of several stops in Manhattan. This was worked out between the committee and officials of the North American Monorail The Council tabled the proposal to next Monday's meeting to allow for further deliberation by its members.
