GLENORCHY City Council is identifying and selling off surplus land in a bid to boost residential housing stock in the municipality. Several lots of council land in Glenorchy, Berriedale, Lutana, Rosetta and West Moonah have already been identified as surplus to requirements and will be sold to be developed as housing. Investigations into

other potential sites continue, with the council expected to advertise four properties for sale in Montrose, Chigwell and Claremont in the coming months.
