ARTIST BIOGRAPHY

Growing up in a creative household, Caleb Hebert has always had a passion for telling stories, but it wasn’t until he wrote his first feature film score for a family film at the age of 17 that he realized his storytelling passion was best realized through music. Getting his first professional composition gig at the age of 18 with a three and a half hour, theme-driven score for My Father’s World, Caleb went on to compose and stage the two-act biblical musical Remember Jericho (reaching 1,200 people), release 30 tracks in his first year of distribution (14,000+ listeners), score nine short films and a Protocol Film scene for the State of Qatar, and orchestrate 69 songs for Jonah! A Whale of a Tale along with additional work for Life House Theater. Caleb envisions a world where faith-based art meets the highest standard of musical excellence through creative authenticity, craftsmanship, and compelling storytelling, and he prayerfully seeks to play a small part—by God’s grace—in bringing that vision to life through his music and collaborations.

ACKNOWLEDGMENTS

First, I want to thank my God, the author and perfector of all beauty and creative thought. He is the first Creative, the ultimate Creator, the One from whom every artistic impulse flows. Though I have sinned and rebelled against Him—He who is all-powerful and just—He chose the cross so that I might be saved and dwell with Him forever. Lord, thank You for saving me and for giving me breath and words to praise You. Thank you to my parents, my brother, and my family. Because of your love, teaching, and sacrifice, I love the Lord, had the opportunity to study at CBU, and learned to tell stories. Thank you to my teachers, especially Dr. Pickett, for your patience, instruction, and wisdom. Thank you to my colleagues at CBU for welcoming me, sharpening my musicianship, and strengthening my faith.

And Providence my fiancée and my best friend thank you for your constant encouragement. Thank you for listening to every idea, steadying me in frustration, celebrating victories, and always pointing me back to Christ. You inspire me to be a better musician and a better man. I am endlessly grateful for you.
