We were all excited and expectant for what the LORD would do in 2020 as we all said our joyful goodbyes to 2019. We were thankful to GOD for 25 years of His awesome faithfulness towards CBN Asia.

Jesus. We launched our newest addition to the ministry, CBN Asia’s music arm, Reverb Worship PH, which seeks to produce music that celebrates and declares the unchanging love of God.

However, to our surprise, 2020 turned out to be an extremely challenging year for all of us. It started with the Taal Volcano eruption, then the COVID-19 pandemic. Until today, many are still jobless and thousands are left to deal with pay cuts and “no work, no pay” arrangements. These questions beg answers: “LORD, when is this all going to end? When are we going back to our normal lives?”

Not only that, The 700 Club Asia, CBN Asia’s flagship TV program, has also been encouraging viewers to believe and trust God through real-life stories of COVID-19 conquerors, while our hosts lead people to pray for peace, healing, protection, hope, security, love and unity during the pandemic through devotional videos.

Proverbs 17:17 says, “A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for a time of adversity.” Dear partner, you can count on Jesus, our true friend and brother, who will love you, care for you, and extend a helping hand even in times of adversity. He will be there for you and with you no matter what! While we are waiting on the Lord’s move to eliminate the virus, we praise Him in the middle of adversity. We give glory to God who, now more than ever, has shown His faithful and loving character to the CBN Asia Family of Ministries. Amid the pandemic, quarantine, and recession, God continues to pour His love and grace in our lives and in the lives of the many people the CBN Asia Family of Ministries has touched. Thank you so much, our dear friends, for walking alongside CBN Asia in the 26 years of living out our mission to proclaim Christ and transform lives through media, prayer and biblical counseling, humanitarian services, and missions. Your sacrificial giving has empowered us to respond to our kababayans in need! Since the COVID-19 outbreak, CBN Asia’s humanitarian arm, Operation Blessing Foundation Philippines (OB), has been providing much-needed Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs), preventive care kits, hygiene kits, Bibles, food packs, medicines, and livelihood to different hospitals, communities, and local churches in the country. OB not only responded to the COVID-19 outbreak, we were also able to help fire, earthquake, and Taal Volcano eruption victims as well as our indigenous kababayans and back-to-school beneficiaries.

Our missionary training arm, the Asian Center for Missions, also recently celebrated its 25th anniversary, proving that the pandemic cannot disrupt our goal to encourage and equip global workers and trainees in sharing God’s Word. Indeed, we bring back all praises and glory to our LORD Jesus Christ who made all these possible. He allowed us to thrive even in the midst of adversity! Dear partners, as we move forward to more years of bringing God’s love to more people, join us in praying this verse found in Isaiah 54:2, “Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes.” May God continue to bless you, keep you, and multiply the work of your hands!

The Asian Center for Missions, CBN Asia’s missionary training arm, celebrated its 25th anniversary this year. Since its inception in 1995, ACM has been providing cross-cultural missionary training for those who have been called by God to reach the nations and proclaim His saving love to unreached people groups. ACM also helps facilitate the deployment of missionaries and care for those who are already in the mission field – in close partnership with local churches and organizations. Since then, ACM has expanded its ministry to reach more people by shifting to online mobilizations and missionary training programs using Moodle as the platform and Zoom for real time classes. This year, ACM also launched INTERCE-ZOOM, a bi-weekly prayer gathering of ACM, missionaries, and partners to pray for the nations. They produced videos to promote the 14 muslim tribes, bless Muslim families with food packs, and gaveone-time financial support to workers in Mindanao and quarterly financial support to international workers. During the pandemic, ACM also strengthened their online presence (FB, Youtube, Instagram, Website), and sent out short and encouraging messages to missionaries, donors, and church partners.

Your giving enabled us to extend much-needed help to the hungry, the sick, the homeless, the jobless, the weak, and the lost. We would not have been able to accomplish all these without God’s enabling grace and the support of our faithful ministry partners.

Thank you!

This is OUR accomplishment report. Soli Deo Gloria! Glory to God alone!
