Chamber of Commerce Summer Youth Work Experience Programme The Cayman Islands Chamber of Commerce Summer Youth Work Experience Programme (SYWEP) provides youth between the ages of 15 and 17 with paid summer work experience for up to six weeks in July and August. Participants work in entry-level jobs in a variety of industries including: 

Arts and Recreation

Educational Services

Financial Services

Healthcare/Medical

Hospitality/Tourism

Information Technology

Manufacturing

Marketing/Public Relations

Media/Entertainment

Real Estate/Property

Retail

SYWEP also provides workshops at the Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with member recruitment agencies, in job readiness, career exploration, financial literacy and social growth. Youth can apply for the programme online, at the Chamber offices in Governors Square, member schools and recruitment agencies during the application period. Participants are selected to fill the positions based on the number of positions that Chamber members who sign up as SYWEP business partners create. Enrollment Dates 
