Welcome
to the 8th Annual Triple Threat Bull & Female Sale. With 2025 in the rearview mirror, where we saw exceptional cattle prices, some moisture, and a beautiful fall to bring in harvest. Overall finally we had a good year that we can proudly talk about. On a personal level around here we saw Jodi’s son (Jarret) get married, and J.R began his journey to become a heavy duty mechanic at Kenworth. We were blessed with the moisture , great calf prices and really good silage crops.
As we turn to our offering, we could not be prouder of this pen of bulls. Our BIGGEST offering to date . It’s been said each year, but HONESTLY we are pumped with the overall power, type and production of these bulls. We have some of our new herdsire groups showing they are a FORCE and a few of our older ones still showing they got it! Our FEATURE BLACK group are representing one of our new herdbulls CMS Cross the Line 370L. He will be on display next to his sons and we are sure you will be impressed. There is a sprinkle of AI sired calves in the group this year. Our LFE Unlimited 401G has a standout set of bulls as well as our RPlus (Gibs) . Another of our new herdsires is Moes Barney 62L and he did a BANG UP job for us. Unfortunately we will NOT have any females in the sale this year.
We decided we needed to keep all we had to help bring in the young cows into the herd. We had our heifer bull Rest Easy go down and ended up losing a few up and coming girls. But be rest assured the females will be back next year. We look forward to seeing everyone Feb 21 on the farm. Lunch @ 11:30 where home raised brisket and turkey ( Raised by Charlene and Dean Green ) will be served. Strike is a double sided blaze. The chrome addition in calves at auction have and still make an impact in the pocket. The grand dam 626D is probably my favourite blazed cow on the place. The 2024 calf crop seen her produce twin heifers. 1 was retained in the herd and the other sold for 11500 at SimPower in Dec to Walton Cattle Co. 725 would be a great pick to use on some second calvers. He has a lot to off programs.

As 608N is my dads favorite bull, this Westcott son got named Rugby. I grew up close to Westcott and Rugby was a mile away in my community. A quote from Daryl when he viewed the bulls “ he looks like a Westcott”. He should know as he owned the bull. He also stated that Westcott will follow the cow for udder quality. A dark red tank. The offspring from our R-Plus aka Gibs ( LFe Stratton son) produced both sides. The top end heifers and the cow-man’s kinda bulls. They may have a bit of leather upfront but that carries into deep shoulders , middle and hip. 825N’s dam is a powerful cow and may not be the most refined girl but she does “broody” very well. Just like all our bulls we put great emphasis on our momma cows, and 825F is as good as I’ve raised.

This dark red sniped bull is as long as a train and when get behind him he exhibits the sought after hip for our calves.

Whiskey is another Gibs son that has a bit of “Junk in the trunk” upfront. He’s got the room to keep expanding and that is going to exciting. As of right now he’s got the big barrel and big hip so it could be interesting. We are paid by the pound at the mart and we need those easy doing cattle to help us with the limited pasture and feed we can have. Jace is a bull I am very proud of, a great bull out of my little herd. Jace is a calving ease bull who is wide in the rips and hips. He is deep ripped and the complete package. He’s got the money stripe on his face to add that little pop into your calves. His dam was a heifer that I bought from the Springcreek dispersal and showed her as a yearling to a two year old. I have sold his half sister as bred to Reed Walton from Drumheller this December at the Sim Power sale. His sire is a bull that we run at home purchased from Mappin Simmentals who himself has been an excellent addition to the herd and is proving himself with this crop of bulls and heifers we have! Both sides of the family tree have incredible calving ease performance. If you want the calves to slip on out and have a chance to get that colouration on them. I would have a hard look at this guy!

Our only recommendation for a black bull in our calving ease section. Take it Easy is a Double Bar D Rest Easy son and who’s dam is a very sweet first calving heifer sired by our Lewis bull we called Razor. The Razor daughters are doing a great job here and this fall J.R had Rest Easy daughter that sold for $12,500 to Quaid Walton at Drumheller. They get better and better with age. 2336N is long, smooth made with fine bone to help them “slip” on out.

The terms of the sale are cash, cheque, and wire transfers, payable at par at the sale location unless satisfactory payment arrangements have been made prior to the sale with seller, buyer and Bohrson Marketing Services. Bohrson Marketing Services reserves the right to require a certified cheque as settlement before releasing any sale cattle. Payment in full must be made before cattle can be released and shipped. Exchange rates will be announced sale day and the sale will be held in Canadian funds.
BIDDING:
All animals to sell through the sale must be sold by auction with each animal selling to the highest bidder. Private sales will not be allowed except as otherwise provided for in the terms and conditions. No by-bidding will be permitted.
DISPUTES:
In cases of disputes, bidding will be reopened between the parties involved in the dispute. If no further bid is made, the buyer will be the person from whom the auctioneer accepted the last bid and the auctioneer’s decision will be final.
ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Any announcement from the auction block will take precedence over the printed matter in the catalogue. Buyers are therefore cautioned to pay attention to any such announcements.
LIABILITIES:
All persons attend the sale at the their own risk.
CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRY:
A registration certificate issued by the applicable breed association and a certificate of registry duly transferred will be furnished to the buyer of each animal after final payment has been made.
BULL BREEDER GUARANTEE:
We guarantee our bulls to be sound, fertile, and reproductive in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Canadian Angus and Simmental Association for the first breeding season. Claims must be madeby November 1st of the year of purchase. If your bull experiences a problem, please contact us immediately and we will provide a suitable replacement if available or a sale credit. This guarantee does not cover death, injury,
mismanagement, or the bull is unable to freeze semen. Effort has been made to assure bulls are sound by ourselves and an accredited veterinarian.
IN-HERD SEMEN:
We reserve the right to draw semen for in herd use at our expense and the buyers convenience on any bull in the sale.
HEALTH:
All sale animals have met all necessary health requirements and it is the buyer’s responsibility and expense to determine health requirements for importing any animal into his province or state. Bohrson Marketing Services assume no responsibility for the health status of any animal in the sale.
PURCHASER’S RISK:
Each animal becomes the risk of the purchaser as soon as sold.
SHIPPING:
Shipping of cattle, semen and/or embryos are the responsibility and expense of the purchaser. Purchasers are requested to provide shipping instructions at settlement on sale day.
INSURANCE:
We strongly recommend insurance for full value on all purchases.
ACCIDENTS:
Every precaution will be taken to protect the safety and comfort of buyers, neither the Sales Management, auctioneer, consignors or Association assumes any responsibility in this matter and disclaims any liability legal or otherwise in the event of accident or loss of property.
INFORMATION SUPPLIED:

WINTERING/DELIVERY:
Bulls can return to consignor’s farm and be fed free of charge until April 1st, 2026 providing they are fully insured. They will be delivered prior to April 1st within 250 km from the consignor’s farm at no cost to the purchaser.
