First time users will select the REGISTER button from this page. Fill out the registration form to signup for a free user account and it allows you to select a username and password for use on all Fam Gate Timed auctions (please note due to some of the text notification features the FarmGate Time Auction Site requires a new account separate from your DLMS Live sale site account).

After you create your FarmGate account you will receive a text message with a pin code to verify your account.

On your first log in to FarmGate Timed auctions we recommend you go to your profile and confirm your notifications are set to YES. This allows the site to send you text and/or email notifications when you are out bid and if there is activity on your favorite lots.

Returning FarmGate Users

If you have used Farm Gate Timed auctions in the past simply enter your user name and password to continue. After you have logged in you are able to browse the timed auctions on DLMS FarmGate Timed Auctions.

How to Bid

Now that you are logged in and your account phone number/email is verified, you are able to bid on an upcoming sale. Simply find the lot you are interested in bidding on. After you have found the lot there are 2 options for bidding on the lot.

Place Next Bid - to place the bid on the animal, you see the amount in the first box, you simply click the Place Bid button and after you review the bid and agree to the terms and conditions your bid will be placed.

max Bid Amount - to place a max bid, you put your max bid in the second box listed as Max Bid on the animal, and then click the Place Bid button and after you review the bid and agree to the terms and conditions your bid will be placed as the next bid. With the Max Bid placed the computer will then keep you as the high bidder to the maximum amount you have placed. This can be a great feature if you are not able to give 100% attention to the sale close out and protect your interest so you do not miss out on any lots you want to purchase. The Max Bid amount is completely confidental from the seller during the sale process.

Example of How the Max Bid Works: If the lot has a $2000 bid on it and you place a proxy bid of $3500 into the system, the computer will bid $2100 for you. If someone else bids $2200, the computer will again bid for

you - this time at $2300. The system will look after your interest to a maximum of $3500. If another bidder is on at $3600, your proxy will no longer be effective. You will no longer have the winning bid on this lot without once again logging in and bidding again, or moving your attention to a second lot of interest. Please note that in some cases a lot value can change very quickly if 2 max bids are placed on the same lot, competing against each other.

Watch list Feature

If you have items in multiple auctions or only a few from the same auction that you want to watch without having to scroll through the entire list, you can add the lots to your watchlist. On each lot you will see the “eye” button beside the bid button. Clicking this “watchlist” icon adds the animal to your personal watchlist for easy viewing of only your favorite lots in this sale or on the entire site.

sale Ending/Closeout

Most FarmGate Timed Auctions close racehorse style with extended bidding.

Racehorse style sale Close is when the entire sale stays open in extended bidding. This type of sale allows you as the bidder to change to a different lot within the same sale if the bidding has gone to extended bidding.

When we get to the close out end time the clock for close extends with any bid placed with less that 5 minutes on the clock. This type of extended bidding turns the end time to more of a soft time. Extended bidding allows bidders to compete in lots like a real auction and give all bidders the same time to make a decision. Always follow the clock to see how much time remains in the sale you are interested in.

Bidding Close & Follow-Up

After the clock has gone to ENdEd and no bidding has occurred for 5 minutes, the computer will declare the sale finished. Following the close typically within 24 hours of the sale close, the sale consignor will contact all winning bidders to arrange payment, transfer of pedigrees and delivery/ pick up your lot. As the winning bidder you can contact the sale consignor/ sale manager to confirm payment instructions.

Please make sure your account info is up-to-date and correct if you are the winning bidder of a lot as this how the billing is sent to the sale manager and/or sale consignor.

We would like to welcome you back to the 6th Annual Heart of the Peace Bull and Female Sale, whether you are new to our sale or old friends and fellow cattle people.

We believe we have a strong set of bulls that represent our program and would be an asset to anyone’s program. 2025 was one of those up and down years here at Lazy B. It started with a strong sale of our bulls then rolled into a drought situation all summer long. We continued to feed hay all summer as we struggled like everyone else in our area. Hay became a premium as fields suffered from lack of moisture. Fall came and went with record cattle prices which in turn helped offset the burn of the summer drought. With that being said, we have put together 10 bulls from 8 different sires and are confident we have something that will work with your program.

We raise our Angus cattle keeping in mind ease of handling and safety without jeopardizing the fundamentals, structure, growth potential, calving ease and fertility. We believe that tie and halter breaking our bulls will benefit your operation by producing profitable and predictable cattle. We are very hands on with our animals by visually heat detecting and AIing without a sync program. At the end of May the tank is put away and the cattle are exposed to reputable herd sires with great calving ease.

Our bulls on offer will be tie broke, parent verified and semen tested. All our bulls have been hand fed, groomed and are accustomed to people and dogs.

Trevor Binks & melanie Klassen Grande Prairie, AB 780-518-0630 Trevor lazyblivestock.com

Please feel free to reach out to us about our program or tour through the bulls on offer. Once again, the photos in the catalogue were taken mid January. Videos will be taken the first part of March for viewing through DLMS on sale day.

We would like to give a big shout out to RancHER Designs for the sale books, Klassen Marketing for the photos/videos as well as our sponsors and repeat buyers.

LBL May City 132l 38M is the first of two feature bulls we have on offer. This “M” calf of 60 lbs was born a week early from his AI date. We purchased May City’s Dam, WC Fay 132L, from Willow Creek Simmentals at the Ladies of the Peace Sale in December 2024, with her AI safe to Belvin May City. WC Fay 132L is stacked with maternal greatness with many of the top cows in the Poplar Meadows herd built into her pedigree. With the likes of Bravo, Basin Payweight and Final Answer, you know those traits are going to trickle down through her offspring. 38M’s sire is Belvin May City 136 and was the highlight and high selling bull at Belvin’s 2021 sale. It is said his combination of muscle shape, soft middle, great feet, big scrotal and commanding presence made May City a popular bull. LBL May City 38M appears to be following in his sire’s footsteps as he is already very deep sided, dense, strong footed with a tonne of hair. We are excited about the genetics of this bull and would like to share semen rights and be given the option of shared ownership, providing a partnership can’t be agreed upon. Please reach out to us if you are interested.

LBL Colossal 19H 10N comes to us from a proven 5 year old Harvest Admiral cow. Harvest Admiral was our herd sire for a number of years that passed on his strong maternal traits to his daughters. 10N’s sire, Musgrave Colossal, offers to his calves unmatched body mass and rib shape, rarely seen in a top ranked CE sire. 10N himself is made deep and dense with some strong muscle expression. Because of 10N’s BW, I would consider him a good option to add power to your calves.

LBL Show Biz is our second feature bull. We are excited about his genetics and power as well. Right out of the gate this bull was born into this world large and in charge. He was one of those calves that left the other bulls in the dust when it came to growth and weight gain. With a BW of 98 and an ADW of 801 he showcases a tonne of hip with a deep middle. His dam is our favourite 6-year-old, no miss Titlest cow with a near perfect utter, great feet and solid balance that carries through to her offspring, every time. We acquired HF Show Biz 226J semen at the Frozen Genetics sale. And couldn’t be happier with it as he is recognized for his strong phenotype, performance and maternal genetics. HF Show Biz 226J, sired by Schiefelbein Showman, was the Reserve Champion Bull at the 2022 Agribition and is known for producing well built sons and daughters with good performance figures, adding muscle and depth. If you want to add size to your cows or if you have larger cows, this guy could be the bull for you. We would also like to share semen rights on 7N and are willing to work with the new owner.

LBL Jesse James 532G 17N is another solid framed bull out of our 532G Echo cow sired by our old Admiral sire. Admiral had a tonne of volume to him and so does the Echo cow. We have been using SAV Jesse James as an AI sire for the last few years with some good results. We sold heifers out of him in the Ladies of the Peace Sale as well as a bull in the Heart of the Peace Sale. I have used him on big cows as well as moderate with all kinds of good results. Jessie James is known for his stellar phenotype and powerful performance. 17N carries a lot of the same traits. He has a BW of 86 out of a 7-year-old cow. It can be a challenge keeping these BW down on these old cows that know how to get to the feed bale first. We think 17N will provide calving ease as he is built and bred for it.

Year after year our old matriarch cowy 61Y has produced another bull that makes it to the keeper pen. I would say that this 14-year-old cow, affectionately named “Buffy” doesn’t owe anything to Lazy B. She was our first purebred black heifer we purchased from K-cow in 2011. To this day, she doesn’t miss a beat. Crossed with our own new herd sire, she has given us a well framed bull that is structurally sound and gets out and moves effortlessly. 24N is very balanced with smooth shoulders, offering lots of frame, bone growth and deepness through his hips. 24N is the youngest bull in the group but you sure wouldn’t guess that by looking at him. His sire is a true breeding bull that is highly respected by cattlemen and women around the world. Bravo 16N is out of one of our older, moderate 9-year-old cows who is still holding her own in our herd. You can say this bull should bring longevity to his offspring. 16N actual BW was 81lbs and should provide lots of breeding options for your herd.

Welcome once again to the 2026 Heart of The Peace Bull Sale.

We are excited to be back consigning 4 black Angus bulls to the sale this year. The last few years have been very trying for all Peace County producers with the dry years and shortage of feed. Us, like many neighbours and friends, had to drastically reduce our herd size last year, but with that we feel we have a stronger cow herd. Although our purebred herd may be small, we are striving to ensure to produce quality animals that will go out and work for years in your herd. We are very adamant on feet, udder and strong maternal traits. Our herd is moving forward with the addition of some females from the embryos we purchased from a Baldrige Y69 daughter. The way these daughters are developing we feel they will be cornerstone of our program.

Along with the acquisition of herd bulls last year from two very strong maternal cows from the Miller Wilson (Blackbird 105A) and Pieschel (Cheetah 15X) programs we are excited to see where our herd goes in the future.

These 2 bulls are from a flush we bought from Lyndon Manor Farms. This flush did not disappoint. Flush brothers sold last year to Warkentin Farms, Gagne Farms, Suter Farms and Ryan Claggett. The docility and growth that these bulls show have exceeded our expectations. We are super excited to calve out two of their full sisters this spring. Their calving ease and growth is what every commercial cattle producer looks for. Anyone in the Angus breed knows the famous Baldridge Y69 cow (maternal grandmother) and Deer Valley Growth Fund (paternal grandfather), you won’t go wrong with these bulls. 8N has a bit more bw on him but his recip mother is one of our powerhouse commercial cows. We purchased this flush in the New Years Resolution sale again from Lyndon Manor Farms. We were looking to add some more maternal strength to our herd. Glen spoke very highly of this cow so we thought we would give it a try. J Trademark was purchased by Coleman Angus and is very sought after for his calving ease and tremendous performance. We thought this would be good outcross genetics to put in our herd. We were hoping for females but got these 2 rascals instead who have been pen favorites of Adam’s since day 1. These two carry more birthweight so we would not recommend them for heifers. We will be retaining semen on these guys for our own herd use.

kleskun lake farm

Kleskun Lake Farm is located east of Sexsmith on the west bank of Kleskun Lake. My grandfather settled here in the 1940s and started raising cattle and a family.

My family and I have had registered Angus cattle since 1995. We value their maternal strength, calving ease and docility. If those criteria aren’t met they are culled and replaced. I kept three bull calves this year

out of twenty one. All bulls I would use going forward and I am proud to stand behind.

Please come take a look at the cow herd and specifically the dams of these bulls. If you can’t come in person please call so we can discuss what you are looking for and which bull might meet your needs.

This guy started at 86 lbs and was 902 lbs on October 1st weaning. This is the third home run for this cow in a row. Three different sires and all three high indexing keeper calves. Previous maternal siblings at Willsons in Bezanson and Mosher’s in Chetwynd. Dam is a stout Remitall Fine Wine 21G daughter from the Erroline family at Remitall West Program. AI Sire Crawford Guarantee is reported to add frame, solid structure and sire daughters that are heavy milkers.

binks angus farm

Located just 10 minutes east of Grande Prairie, we have had the great pleasure of raising our 3 children in the country way of life. Now as empty nesters with 3 grand children we realize just how blessed we are. If the last few years has taught us anything, it’s how important friends, family and community are.

We want to take this time to thank all of our fellow contributors in this 6th annual Heart of the Peace Multi Breed Sale, and to thank all of our past supporters.

Evan grew up showing purebred Hereford cattle in 4-H and local fairs around the Peace Region. When our girls, Jaeden and Madisyn, got into 4-H with heifer projects they chose to get purebred Angus. This is where all the fun began again with the cattle!

Most of our herd is genetically linked back to the first blood lines that our girls used in 4-H. With the extensive use of artificial insemination in the early years, we have built a very reliable herd of red and black angus. The traits we focus on are good feet and legs, conformation, docility, calving ease, and the ability to perform at weaning time.

All of our bulls and heifers in this Heart of the Peace sale this year are sired by RED LBL MULBERRY 12B 3K of the highly respected Lazy B Livestock Angus herd. This sire is what I would consider to be a little bit Country and a little bit Rock and Roll!! Plenty of calving ease and yet lots of weaning weight to put dollars in the bank at sale time!

We realized a few years back that when 8 out of 10 people calling for Angus bulls were looking for “Heifer Bulls”, it only made sense to make this a priority. As a result, this shift in prospective has made for the easiest calving seasons we have had.

Binks Angus Farms is honored to have partnered with such a great group of like-minded cattle producers in this Multi breed bull and female sale.

For your convenience Lazy B and Binks Angus bulls and heifers will be all together for viewing at Binks Angus Farms. Come pick your next Angus herd sire!

If you’re looking for a fancy black bull, Black Berry checks that box. He’s a showy bugger with good feet and legs, straight top line and comes from a mother that just keeps giving me great calf after great calf. Don’t overlook this fella. He checks all the boxes if you’re looking for a black heifer bull 80 pound birth weight or less; this guy is that.

Cool Berry 513N is a superpower, moderate fellow with deep front deep body, long muscle and long back, he kind of just checks a lot of the boxes for a great bull. A 78 pound birth weight falls into the heifer bull category in any breed, but he will give you lots of weaning weight in the fall. Beautiful hair coat on this fellow as well and super width over the top. I can’t say enough about this COOL bull.

Rebers’ Polled Herefords

We’d like to thank everyone who has taken an interest in our program, whether that’s through past purchases, bidding, or simply reaching out to talk cattle. We truly appreciate the support and the conversations that come with it.

Our breeding program continues to focus on producing practical, reliable Hereford cattle that work in commercial settings. Each year we make careful breeding decisions with the goal of improving our herd while staying true to the kind of cattle our customers are looking for.

Pigmentation and red necks remain a priority for us, and we are mindful of how our cattle will perform and be marketed once they leave our place. While maintaining traditional Hereford style, we work to reduce excessive feathering and provide cattle that are functional, sound, and consistent.
