Welcome, welcome, welcome! 2026 makes a momentous year for the ranch. Not only are we moving our bull sale to a new platform; not only do we have black bulls to sell for the very fijirst time ever; but 2026 marks 35 years in the industry. In March 1991 when Jefffrey was only a few weeks old, Glen and Evelyn took him to his very fijirst bull sale. The Northern Progress Sale; that was held in North Battleford at the time. Spending $1500; which was an enormous investment for a young family back then, they bought Red Symbrae Stamina 584Z. Now 35 years later we are ecstatic to invite you to our Farm Gate Sale, and an open house held here at the ranch on March 23rd
Standing true to “letting our bulls look like bulls and our heifers look like heifers”; advice we were given early in our ranching careers, we have been able to build a bull pen that we are incredibly proud of. Presenting you with a great mix of genetics that come from strong AI sires and embryos, walking bulls we’ve bought or raised, and of course Jefffrey’s most favorite thing since sliced bread; Red B-Elle Revelation 215K. Revy has redefijined for us what consistency and predictability can look like in a cattle herd. He himself is balanced; his calves display an ideal skull shape combined with correctness, fluid structure and all around soundness. He is heifer-tested and approved, yet excels equally well on performance-oriented females. Proven across several purebred programs and commercial herds, he is leaving his stamp on the Red Angus Breed. This will be the last bull crop offf of our ol’faithful bull Red Wheel Judge 22G. Year after year he gave us udders, calving ease and foot structure that will continue to be seen in our herd for years to come. Slowburn 2007; a direct son of Slowburn 102H gave us smoothness and a top line flatter than the Saskatchewan prairies. Red Ter-Ron Jameson 55J gave us daughters that are structurally sound while still maintaining femininity. There is also a few embryo calves for sale this year as well. Sons from our esteemed 162Y donor cow; who also happens to be Revy’s mama. Sons from Slowburn 102H, as well as the infamous Six Mile bull; John Wick himself.
It is an exciting time to be a part of this industry. With record setting calf prices and the continuously advancing genetic technology the future is bright for us and the cows. So we take this time to formally invite you to come to the ranch, anytime between now and then for a visit and a tour. In addition we invite you to come on March 23rd to celebrate not just our inaugural sale, not just 35 years in the industry, but also help us celebrate a very special birthday for a very important person!
If you have made it this far in the welcome note I commend you! And we thank you! We thank our past customers for your support and trust through years, and we thank our new customers for the opportunity to show you what we have proudly built over the last 35 years. So once again, join us on March 23rd for all of our favorite things; cattle, food and fellowship! And here is to another 35 years of raising Progeny built on a Trusted Foundation!

Well here we go! The very fijirst footnote of the 2026 catalogue. Yesmaam 162Y was the ‘IT’ cow here on the ranch. She was an 11 year old cow when she gave us our walking bull Revelation 215K. At 11 years of age Jefffrey halter broke her and decided to bring her on the show circuit. Other than the fact it had been nearly 15 years since any of us showed an animal; he still managed to capture Reserve Champion Mature Female at LloydminsterStockadeandtheBarrheadBeef Bash(funfact:Barrheadismy {Khiya’s} hometown). Flushing her enabled us to continue her genetics long aftershewasgone.Herdaughtersarefullof maternalcalvingeasewhilestill being performance oriented, and her sons produce very much the same, while also giving us masculinity and above average scrotal measurements. You cannot go wrong with a Yesmaam son. Night Heat himself is thicccc! He has incredible bone mass and density with a nice angus shaped head that would lean him towards being more of a cow bull. Rekindled 529N patterns similarly to 513N but on the more calving ease side of the spectrum. He would work on both larger heifers and cows. His recip cow is a 9 year old who puts everything into her calves year after year but may not have the punch that the younger recip cows have.

518N
Could he be any more frame? Nuclear Event may be the framiest bull we have ever seen in the pen. He is made very similar to his full brother 513N; he has the shape and capacity to breed bigger and taller cows. He is smooth made through his shoulder butalsopossessesawidetable top back and rip shape.

516N
Isotope 516N is the most balanced of the flush brothers. His entire package includes a mid level frame while maintaining a deep middle, he is loose hided and well made (actually very much like Jefffrey). All four of these Slowburn sons have exceptional foot structure. The Yesmaam line has been cursed with poor calving ease epd numbers, but that has not been our experience. They are highly calving ease, performance based cattle; which is evident throughout the pedigrees shown in our herd.

Six Mile & Co

These two bulls are named after some of the best songs in my favorite musicals. How that pertains to how they look, perform, and are geneticallymadeit;itdoesn’t.Butlookatthepedigreetheypossess, they are DIRECT sons from the infamous John Wick bull from our good friends down at Six Mile. This mating was very carefully throughout; whatbullwouldbestmeldwithYesmaam’sdarkredcolor, ridetop, deep rib and skull shape? 508N is a loose hided, soggy, hairy; really just a NEXT LEVEL HERD BULL! He has so much potential; we will be keeping a semen interest in him. Both bulls have excellent heel depth and overall structure. 508N might be one of John Wick’s most masculine beef bulls he has ever produced. In a lot of ways he will be one of the most interesting bulls to sell all spring. 511N is a smoother, prettier and more heifer orientated while still maintaining bone mass and density.

When we combine the masculinity of Revelation 215K with the the long standing reliability of our Lassie line we are left with Normandy 502N. He has excellent foot structure with a deep body and an all around “angus head”. He was a twin which accounts for his lower birth weight, but lived his pasture life as an only calf. He is a heifer bull, with the genetics for growth! Just what we like to see from our Revelation Sons.

Apparently Hogan’s Heroes was a TV show in the olden days. I always think of Hulk Hogan, which probably gives insight to my age. Our Hogan’s Hero was a home grown bull that we lost far too soon. His daughters in the herd have given us calving ease and beautiful udders. We wish we had been able to have more of them. Navy 507N gave us an impressive spread between his BW and his WW. He is a heifer bull that is sure to calve easy.

I know everyone talks about how consistent their pen is, and its something we can say with confijidence, this years pen is one we are incredibly proud of. And thanks to our wonderful photographer, our pictures really do capture the essence of the bull pen.

539N
Namaste; seize the day! Or how about we seize another opportunity to get some of the Revelation genetics for yourself. So you know those 5 month old calves that strut around the pasture all summer long? Bellowing and acting like they are the 4 year old herd bull. That was this guy. He has fijilled out into what we would call a “true Revelation bull”. Solid from the head to the rear, strong boned, masculine, and full of overall presence. Seize the day or the opportunity on this bull.

Here is a Revelation son that has the extra smoothness that is just right for the heifer pen. Nightingale is extremely correct and fluid in his structure and the way he walks the pen. He has a real gentleness that we expect from our bull pen. If we can’t bring the kids into the pen with us because there is an animal that is a bit heads up, then that animal doesn’t have a place here. 565N made the cut and lives up to all the expectations we have of him.

5108N
Nations 5108N is a March born calf that Evelyn has loved since those late evening summer pasture checks. Glen was worried his age would leave him behind in the bull pen. Well look at him now, and look who was right! He is the last calf to come from our 252Z cow. She was undeniably one of the best footed females we’ve ever had. She was a powerhouse cow, who gave us smaller calves but then pumped milk to those babies like there was no tomorrow. We wish there had been more daughters to keep. 5108N is giving you that deep maternal instinct onboththedamandthesire sides. With his thick hair coat, and overall eye appeal he really is a neat package who could breed heifers for several seasons.

I think I’ve said it before, but everyone has their favorite cow. That one where we are anxiously waiting to calve so that we can see what she brings to the table. Diablo 666D is that cow for Glen. Each year stays true to a level of consistency that we have cometoknowandlovefrom her. 514N gives us big body and growth. As a twin with a 60lbs birth weigh, he was able to be milked as a singleton which gave him the jump he needed for ADG of 3lbs a day.
515N
Workin’ nine to fijive, what a way to make a livin’. Obviously Dolly was not talking about life on a ranch. But good luck getting this song out of your head now! Not to be outdone by his twin brother 515N he had a ADG of over 3lbs on a surrogate cow. Both of the AI calves out of U2Q’s Playboy bull are deep bodied, masculine in their builds with wide base stances and possessing that very typical Red Angus coloring.

I usually can fijind a quote or a lyric for almost anything in life. But for some reason the song “NightTrain” by Jason Aldean didn’t have any lines that could be used in a footnote for a bull. Although considering the paternal grand sire of 548N is U2’s Knockin’ Boots bull; maybe I should rethink what a useable line would actually be. Night Train might be the stoutest bull in this years pen. Coupled with his length of body and depth of rib; he is certainly aneyecatcher.Hisdamisanevermisscowwhohas very quickly become a favorite here on the ranch. The Red Wheel Judge daughters are really starting to come into their prime now and producing at the top of the herd. 550N comes from a really functional, picture perfect udder cow who has now put two really nice bulls into production last year and this year. Foot quality and udder quality are synonymous with both sides of Nigel 550N’s pedigree and he possesses plenty of elite calving ease with enough punch to give you a rock solid calf crop in the fall.
563N
It’s a weird year when we we don’t get to brag up the Utopia line; but this years batch was very heifer heavy. Not that we are complaining, our Utopia line is known for it’s ability to make replacement heifers. And that is exactly what Nelson 563N will do for you. He will give you an entire pen of well built square udder cows to build the next generation of your herd.

His mother is a sound made excellent udder cow whose progeny has done well in all the herds they have joined.

The way this bull struts his stufff, you would never guess he’s one of the younger ones in the pen. Like his name suggest N’Sync 595N is eager to put on a show and capture your attention. It doesn’t hurt that his dam is also as flashy as her name suggests; often gaining attention during pasture tours. Luckily 595N’s hair is a major upgrade to the noodle hair Justin Timberlake used to wear. Plus unlike the boy band of the 90’s, there is no frosted tips (short ears) to be found.

Much like the nimbostratus cloud, 542N is thick and uniform. His dam is one of the original 10 heifers that Jefffrey and I bought in 2017. She is a well balanced cow who has never failed. Literally all of her progeny have either made it to the fijinal bull pen, or we have kept as replacements. She is one of our most trusted cows. Plus her foot structure is an addedbonusthatshealways passes down. She proves it once again with this 3rd Thunder son she has given us. He is built for longevity, and will work on both cows and heifers.

One of the best things about the advancement of genetic technology is the ability to reach into the tank and reuse genetics from days gone by. In 2020 we had a natural bred son from Cadet 1C and a Yesmaam daughter 329A. We really liked the look and make of him so we kept him for use in our own herd. Now years later we were able to recreate that pairing into anothergreatson.Insurgent 543N is a dark red bull, smooth through his head, shoulder and rear. He has a bit of leg under him, ensuring that he will fijill out into a nice size bull, while also having the ability to breed both large heifers and cows with ease.

No one is going to mistake Nashville 533N for the next dumbo. His poor ears are a bit shorter than we would like to see after a cold winter. But what he lacks in the ear department he more than makes up for it in the spring of rib, the thick dark hair coat and the added frame that he brings to the table. So while he won’t be starring in the next Disney franchise, he will add plenty of pounds to yourfallcalf crop.Anadded bonus is he goes back to the Yesmaam line; giving him plenty of maternal calving ease to pass on to his daughters.

Have cattle they say, it’ll be fun they say. What was not taken into account was having to write footnotes, in the middle of calving season while a snow storm rages through. Nevada 557N comes from an extremely fertile cow family. His dam has always calved the fijirst cycle; or this year where she got bred after the bull jumped the fence before we had a chance to create breeding groups. She has given us many high quality progeny over the years, like 507Ns mother. She consistently makes moderate framed attractive progeny and Nevada is no exception. A heifer bull through and through, he is calving ease combined with exceptional hip shape and thickness.

Newport 578N is all pounds in a moderate package. Built like his mother he has mass without the added frame making him an excellent heifer bull. His mother, a Double Take 701C daughter, is built for the long haul. She has a balanced and square udder with an abundance of milk. 578N’s pedigree is full of the flesh-ability to make it in marginal environments with low inputs. It is something we have come to expect from all of our Judge sons we have sold over the past years.
582N
Norfolk has positive disposition bred into him. His mother 89H is the fijirst cow to the truck on pasture tours and has been caught more than once with her front feet in the backbumperof the farmtruck looking for pellets or oats. 582N is an excellent made bull with a friendly attitude, he will workoncowsandheifersboth.

Judge has set a new standard here for raising calvingeasebullsthataresoundmadeandthatlast. Combined with the Nirvana line, Nottingham 570N could breed heifers for years and years. He’s the typethatwillcrossonbigexoticbreedcattletocalve easy, yet will leave your head spinning with the cross-bred vigour his calves will have. And if his daughters have the longevity that his maternal line does then he could have one of the highest ROI’s of the entire bull pen. We often have to remind him to comeandeatinsteadof pacingtheheiferfenceline; reassuring us that he has plenty of early breeding vigor.

We should have named this bull longevity! His dam just calved her 11th calf at 12 years of age and his maternal grand dam; 162Y herself, was here on the ranch for 14 years. His maternal grandsire Thunder 712T bred here for 7 years, and his daughters still number among the most in our herd from any sire. A lot of the most influential Yesmaam cows today come from 484B.

Dark red, smooth made, calving ease; all traits he inherited by his sire. Romeo will be the last direct Judge son from a natural service to sell. Don’t miss out.

SSS Deuce 2H

525N and 545N Buying a group of black heifers from Miller Wilson Angus down in Bashaw may have been one of Jefffrey’s more hair brained ideas. We honestly thought we would never see a black animal step foot here. But never say never as the saying goes. And with the idea of expansion in the herd came the decision to diversify into the black hide of the angus world. Two years out from that decision Jefffrey would claim that it might be one of the smartest things he has ever done. This fijirst offfering of black bulls is small in numbersbut highinquality and consistency. Two sons of the Four Mile bull from Greenwoods, and combined with the cows from DMM we couldn’t be more proud to offfer these two bulls as our inaugural black angus offfering. 525N’s mother is a strongly constructed proud Tibbie cow who has a feminine presence to her. 545N’s mother could easily become a favorite here as she has begun to mature into an ideal angus matron. She is a beautifully made Erroline cow with an incredible udder and both cows have exceptional foot quality that they’ve passed onto these young herd sire prospects. Both are built well to service both heifers and cows so consider either one with confijidence.

A huge thank you to these business’s for sponsoring the door prizes. And for putting up with Jefffrey’s incessant texting and phone calls!
