On behalf of our family, Rachele and I would like to invite and welcome everyone to our 9th Annual Bull Sale. It is once again located at the ranch, 5 miles west of Medicine Hat, AB. We look forward to seeing and visiting with everyone on sale day, but as always encourage people to come out and look at the cattle beforehand. We appreciate people taking the time to come out and have a look of what is on offer. We would be proud to show you around and answer any questions you may have. There is a no better industry that we would want to be a part of, and lots of that has to do with the people that are involved. As our children grow, we find it very gratifying to work as a family day in and day out and couldn’t be more proud of their commitment and work ethic to make this program propel forward. Not only do we feel we have the best customers, we are fortunate to have a great sale staff as well. The Bohrson Marketing team is as professional and knowledgeable as it gets and we are excited to once again have them back. If you are unable to make the sale or have questions about the cattle, feel free to contact anyone of them as well. The sale will once again be broadcasted on DLMS for those interested in that route.
We are excited about the bulls on offer and what they can provide for our customers. They have performed well to weaning and again up to sale time. There of course are bulls that are going to work in the heifer pen and offer calving ease, however the majority of the bulls will have a performance focus to them. We feel like these bulls will perform with any, and as always believe pounds pay. Our philosophy has remained, ensuring each bull in the sale is backed by a cow you would be proud to own. There is a focus on feet and udders, with the cows being deep bodied, and thick made. Phenotype is very important, and we like the cows to be angular and have added look to them.
The Emerald sire group continues to lead the charge here. They have been really well accepted by our customers and are always a very consistent group. These bulls are impressive to look at with shape, mass, and an eye catching presence. We have now weaned calves off our Emerald daughters, and we couldn’t be happier. Emerald will continue to play a large part in our operation.
New this year will be the first Golden Oak Preacher sons to sell. Preacher has gained a lot of hype, and some of the best cow herds in the country have stepped out and used him. I believe these cattle will cross nicely with ours. The pedigree is stacked with great cows, and the early consensus is they are good footed, hairy, and sound. This year will be the 2nd crop of the HF Gravity sons to sell. We have been thoroughly pleased with these sons. They come easy and grow maybe better than any bull we have ever walked here. They are younger bulls but have as much performance and masculinity as any. Other industry leading bulls like Greenwood Four Mile, HF Reverence, and Coleman Glacier will off customers some outcross genetics.
It is obviously an exciting and unpresented time in the cattle industry. With record prices and continued shortage of cattle numbers, it looks like we are in for good years ahead. It seems like now is the time to invest in genetics, and I believe this set of bulls can advance your program. We encourage everyone to come out anytime between now and sale to have a look at the bulls and their dams. We are located just 5 miles west of Medicine Hat and are easy to get to. We would love to have a visit. The videos will be posted on DLMS before the sale and encourage people to view them. We will do everything in our power to make it a good experience for you and will stand behind these bulls 100%. We would like to thank all of past customers and friends that have helped us get to this point. It is truly rewarding to get to work with some of the best people in the industry and have so many repeat customers return each year. Any questions, please feel free to reach out. Ashton and Rachele

It is always a privilege to represent programs like Riverfront Angus Ranch. Ashton and Rachele have built this operation with integrity, passion, and an unwavering commitment to the Angus breed. They are some of the very best people in the business and the kind that put their customers first, stand behind their cattle 100%, and raise their family with strong core values that are evident in everything they do. What makes Riverfront truly special is that it is a genuine family operation. The three kids are equally invested in the program, whether that’s working alongside their parents at home, helping prepare cattle, or proudly promoting the Riverfront brand throughout the year at junior and open shows. Their enthusiasm, work ethic, and pride in the cattle are a direct reflection of the foundation Ashton and Rachele have created. It is refreshing to see a family so united behind a common goal which is to build great cattle and great relationships. The strength of this program starts with the cow herd. Riverfront’s philosophy of ensuring every bull is backed by a cow you would be proud to own is more than just words, it is evident throughout this offering. The cows are deep bodied, broody, sound footed and tidy uddered, with the kind of phenotype and longevity that keeps a program moving forward. The influence of elite cow families like the Royal Lass, Beauty, Rose and Princess lines runs deep, and the maternal consistency behind these bulls gives buyers confidence that the daughters will be just as valuable as the sons. The sire battery assembled here is both impressive and intentional. The continued impact of Brooking Emerald 9179 is undeniable, producing cattle with shape, mass, extra look and consistency. The first sons by Golden Oak 1054 Preacher 333L add fresh genetics and power, while proven and exciting herd sires such as HF Gravity 313K, Coleman Glacier 041, Greenwood Four Mile 47J, HF Reverence 23K, and others inject performance, calving ease and structural integrity into the offering. The diversity in pedigrees allows customers to find the right fit for their program, whether that be heifer bulls, performance-driven herd sires, or a blend of both.
In today’s market, investing in strong, predictable genetics matters more than ever and this is a set of bulls designed to move programs forward. Riverfront Angus Ranch has developed a loyal and growing customer base, and it is easy to see why. Their honesty, hospitality and commitment to customer satisfaction set them apart. Whether you are a long-time supporter or attending for the first time, we encourage you to visit the ranch ahead of sale day, evaluate the bulls and their dams, and see firsthand the quality and consistency this family has worked so hard to achieve. We look forward to visiting with you on March 21st and assisting you in any way we can. If you are unable to attend, bid with confidence through DLMS or contact any member of our Bohrson Marketing team to discuss the offering. Riverfront Angus Ranch is a program built on people, passion and powerful maternal genetics and we believe this may be their strongest set to date.
Best Regards,
The Bohrson Marketing

We are excited to once again lead off the catalog with another strong set of Brooking Emerald sons. Emerald has made a big impact at our place and will continue to see heavy use where we can use him. We have weaned our first calves off the Emerald daughters and we couldn’t be happier with the females he has produced. I believe the Lot 1 bull may be one of the best Emerald sons we have produced. He’s the kind of bull that catches your attention every time. He has an awesome look up front, but yet is thick made and deep bodied. He moves out with ease, and is hard to pick a hole in. He is backed by one the most influential females we have ever walked. 313 was one of the original cows we purchased and went on to become an Elite cow with the Canadian Angus Association. She produced multiple daughters that were retained in our herd, as well has had feature daughters and sons sell. She consistently transmitted udder quality,

the
and phenotype. We have flushmates in the replacement pen that look the part and that will continue
Lass

564 is a bull that I think should get a hard look at. His dam would be a maternal sister to the lot 1 bull and is very solid in her own right. We have had some very good Upward daughters over the years and 708 would be right up there. She is very functional and most notably raised a extremely good daughter that Paisley showed successfully. 564 is a younger bull, but has stood right in there with his pen mates. He was the highest WPDA on grass and continued that trend since weaning. He is up headed, long made, and has the typical Emerald hair. This guy is a great combination of look and performance.

Another Standout Emerald who will put pounds on and last the test of time. 129F came to us from Hamilton Farms, and has done a great job year in and year out. She is a sound, no nonsense cow who has sold bulls to long time customers Weiss Ranching and Erwin Schlenker Farms. She has 2 daughters retained doing a great job, most notably a full sib to 510. These cattle are all great footed, long made, and the type to make money.
I have always had a soft spot for 526, and it has a lot to do with his dam. At 10 years of age she once again calved first cycle and looks good doing it. She is excellent footed, great uddered, and always maintains her condition. The Earnan females developed into some of my favourite cows. They were all very functional, and seemed to last. A full sibling to lot 8 is the dam of lot 34 , and she is a fantastic Emerald daughter and one of my favourite young cows. 526 in his own right is hard to fault. He is very good footed, level in his lines, and sports above average performance numbers. He should have a lot of friends come sale day.

A pair of flush brothers that I love on paper and in the flesh. We selected these embryos knowing both sexes would work, and they did. We have an exciting heifer in the replacement pen, and these 2 guys will definitely find friends sale day. The 6067 cow is as good as you can make one and is backed by the no miss Soo line Rose 1019. These 2 brothers have a herd bull look to him, are stout made and deep bodied. I have swapped opinion all summer and fall trying to decide which is the one id use. If your in the business of retaining or selling replacement females, have a close look.

I find every year these good Earnan daughters producing these solid bulls year in and year out. I really feel like if there was a bull we should go back into the tank, it would be Earnan. 602 is 10 year old cow that has quietly raised a great calf each year with added look. These Emerald sons are very consistent year in and year out. Long bodied and sound would be the best way to describe him. Sons have sold to Buster and Caleb Klassen as well as Tyson Ziegler in the past.
An Emerald Son with a bit of calving ease mixed in. Different twist in pedigree here but still hailing from the famous Beauty cow family that is our favourite. 240 is a moderate made cow that has a feminine look. A maternal sib by Emerald was a pen favourite last year in the bred heifer pen. 563 is really long sided, sound on the move, and is extremely nice fronted.

Lot 9 was a standout all summer long with added muscularity and muscle. He stood out early on and had continued to be one of the higher performing bulls in the sale. He is extremely thick, big hipped, and chocked full of meat. His Aviator dam still looks great at 11 years of age and calved once again early this January. She is a good footed, big bodied female who’s son went through the sale last year to Porters at RP Ranching .
Another Emerald X Upward combination that should improve the bottom line. 836 is consistent in her production and excels in all the traits that matter. She raises an above average calf, breeds back, and does it with minimal help. The Princess cow family was highly touted at Saskalta Farms. Lot 9 is a balanced bull with extra bone, heel, and hair. Brothers have sold to WB Cattle Co and Buster and Caleb Klassen.

Lot 11 and 12 would be the younger full sibs to the lot 1 bull. Once again these bulls are maternally stacked and both have a great look to them for their age. These brothers should certainly add some broodiness and udder quality to their daughters.

OAK MAGNOLIA ET 2D
HEATHER 232K SIX MILE HEATHER 244Z
502 would represent the first Golden Oak Preacher calves to sell at our place. Preacher calves have been highly anticipated, with momentum from some great breeders investing. We used Preacher for some outcross genetics to our program, while maintaining an exciting pedigree filled with outstanding cows. Lot 14 has been a favourite from an early age. He is one of the soggiest, thickest bulls in the group. He is massive hipped and has excellent feet and legs. 502’s dam would be one we are excited about. She excellent uddered, excellent footed, and has a real femine pleasing look to her. She has caught her A.I service her first 3 years and has maintained her condition very well. Lot 14 was one of the heavy weights at weaning and has continued to lead the class.

Chunk. Rugged. Masculine. All words that would describe Lot 15. I like the looks of this bull, and believe he closely represents his sire. 517 has great feet, a big crest, and is long made. We purchased the dam out of the historic Poplar Meadows Dispersal with our friends at Westway Farms. She was an awesome looking bred and has a little different pedigree which was intriguing. 30J sold her first son to Wever farms, has a daughter retained and once again caught early service this January. She is a no-nonsense cow that you would like a 100 of. 517N is pretty interesting when looking into the pedigree finding cows like Magnolia 2D, Flora 6078D, and the immortal Tibbie 28Z close up.

MATERNAL GRANDSIRE
GREENWOOD GUNSLINGER JJP 73G

GREAT GRANDDAM
RRD TIBBIE 28Z

Here is a bull that does a lot of things right. He is thick made, big boned and great footed. I think this will be the kind of bull that will produce the steers buyers are looking for as well as replacement heifers that will be in demand. His dam is a great young cow who’s first calf sold last year to Brooking Angus Ranch for $30000. The grandam and great grandam are very solid cows as well, with the Great Grandam being 11 years old.
Another really solid Preacher son and the reason why we used him. These bulls are stout, with added heel, bone and hair. This guy is about as rugged as you can make one and is going to go out and get the job done. It comes as no surprise, as the Annie K cow family here has done well. 008 is a real functional cow that is a direct daughter of our 808 Donor. A full sib was one of our all time favourite females. First 2 sons sold to Weiss Ranching and Erwin Schlenker Farms.
A big spread bull with an 82 lb BW and one of the heaviest actual weaning and yearling weights. If you are looking to increase base width and rib, take a look. This bull is a little more moderate, but has so much capacity and stands on near perfect feet. His dam is a feminine made Alcatraz daughter who goes back to some really good cows. Calving ease with Performance.

A little bigger framed bull that will inject some length of spine and pay weight. 516 should add some performance if that’s what your looking for. The dam has a gorgeous udder and is a real wedge shaped, feminine female. Highly fertile female here once again and a lot of great cows close up including the great Erica 74A on the bottom side.

Lot 20 will be another bull that is going to work well for its new owner. These preacher cattle are fault free, with a touch extra performance. 558’s dam is a fantastic up and coming cow. She has her first 2 daughters retained in herd, with her first being admired by everyone that sees her. 137 would be a maternal sister to flush brothers in lots 22-24 and would be the natural calf out of our absolute favourite cow on the place.

A Preacher x Bank Note combination that covers all the bases. The Bank Note daughters have sure made nice cows and look like they are going to last. 8006 comes from the prized Madame Pride cow family at SAV, and is very good footed, uddered, and bodied. Get ahold of these Preacher sons, I think they are the kind to buy.

Lots 22-24 represent a highlight of the sale for us. This trio of flush brothers is exciting to see and is backed by our favourite cow we have raised. She is outstanding phenotypically and as well on paper. Her Dam would be a full sib to the immortal Brooking Beauty 333. She is extremely long, massive bodied and still elegant in her design. The beauty cow family is a strong as it gets, and we look forward to getting more daughters in production. The three bulls are a unique combination of powerful genetics, added bone and depth of body. A full sister is a standout in the replacement pen and we are really excited about her future.

A pair of ET brothers by the very popular Coleman Glacier and by an outstanding female in Brooking Beauty 1197. A pedigree loaded with some of the angus worlds best. We were excited to get a couple brothers and a female that also looks the part. 1197 is a full sib to Brooking Emerald, who has worked so well here. These Glacier sons should sire some amazing females, adding in the Donna cow family as well as SAV Renown. Both bulls are excellent footed, hairy, and thick made. There is a little age spread on these 2 bulls, but both are really coming into their own. The 535 bull will be a sale feature and one we have been excited about for a long time.

Another Glacier son out of the $80 000 half interest Brooking Beauty 8187. I have admired this cow for a long time and was pretty excited to get some embryos purchased. Unfortunately, we didn’t get a female, but a son that is going to make great ones. Adding female maker Natural Law and Glacier should make some exciting progeny.

Feature calving ease bull. Stacked pedigree here with the CWA Champion bull Greenwood Four Mile and a real nice Emerald first calver. We were really excited to start calving these Emerald daughters and now in production, they haven’t disappointed. The udder quality and mothering ability is 2nd to none. The grandam of 3030 is Soo Line Rose 1019, which in my opinion is one of the most potent cows in recent history. 508N can be admired for his thickness as a calving ease bull, docility and all around good looks.
Another low birth, calving ease specialist out of the popular Four Mile sire. 507N came in dam from a feature bred purchased out of the Greenwood program. 70L is a real feminine made High Class daughter that has an outstanding udder. She goes back to the awesome 101Z donor from Hamilton Farms. One of the safest heifer bull options in the sale. Owned with Tri-S

Lot 30 would represent another feature calving ease bull. Different twist in pedigree with some new calving ease genetics on top, with tried and true Final Answer on the bottom side. 557 has a real unique look to him and has been one that catches your eye since an early age. He is balanced, soggy made, and is really nice headed. The beauty’s are hard to beat, and 3145’s dam would have a full sister selling for $75000 for half interest. Also close up would be the 6051 cow, most notably being the dam of Brooking Emerald. 557 is really an outlier with his low birth and explosive performance. Pretty impressive a February heifer safe bull is competing with the January performance bulls. Owned with Tri-S
We continue on with these good calving ease options. This time an LFE Best answer son that has a big spread with a 76 lb BW to up over 800 at weaning. These heifers really out did themselves, all bringing in big calves as well as breeding back early. 3189 would have that elusive 6051 cow mentioned so many times in this catalog. I really believe in cow families and special cows, and we have tried to utilize her as much as we can. 530 profiles really nicely, with a real nice front third, and depth of body to go with it. Owned with Tri-S

32
504N 2458605 | RFA 504N | JANUARY 8 2025

TIBBIE JJP 51G
Lot 32 would be somewhat of an anomaly. He recorded our heaviest weaning weight, and accomplished that off his stunning 2 year old dam. 504 carries a little more frame, an extreme amount of length, and a moderate birthweight. His dam is truly an exciting up and coming female, who’s dam and granddam are exceptional females. 45L’s Grandam 28Z is a no miss cow and is the heart of the Greenwood program, producing multiple breeder quality bulls. Reverence was the high selling bull out of the 2023 Hamilton Farms bull sale, known for his combination of calving ease and performance. Owned with Tri-S

ROSE 214X
Here is a bull that will catch some eyeballs. Everyone that has passed through the pens always seems to find this guy. Gravity was purchased from Hamilton Farms and has done a great job. We used him on heifers the first couple of years and has now matured into a proud looking, stout made herd bull. The calves all have growth to them, and we now are starting to calve the daughters. Feature Gravity sons sold to Wauter Valley Ranch and 9 Bar Ranch last year. The 825 Cow looks amazing, with very good feet and udder. She is direct daughter of Rose 214X and one of the best Bank Note daughters we own. 542 is deep made, with as much rib of any bull in the pen. He has a great look to him and one of the high-performance bulls of the day.

A good gravity son out of a first calving Emerald daughter. I like this young cow a lot and would be a full sibling to the lot 4 Bull. She is feminine and yet powerful with an excellent udder. The grand dam is awesome at 10 years of age. 545 is a smooth made bull with an attractive birthweight, and solid performance numbers.
596N 2437089 | DZR 596N | MARCH 13 2025
The youngest bull in the sale… but is really grabbing gears now and is coming into his own. Another Gravity X Emerald combination. 333 hails from the Beauty cow family and was probably the deepest, longest made bred heifer we have ever raised. She is big barrelled and milky. There is a lot of potential in this young bull.

GRAVITY 574N 2425716 | RFA 574N | FEBRUARY 21 2025
SCHIEFELBEIN SHOWMAN 338 HF GRAVITY 313K

Heifer bull deluxe here with calving ease on both sides. 77 Lb birthweight on this guy and sleep all night with Collosal on the bottom side. The dam is a little more moderate female with an excellent udder. Her maternal brother will sell as Lot 19. Not only does 574 check out calving ease on paper, he reads that way in the flesh as well with a smooth shoulder and smaller head.

Tried and true calving ease option going back to the old Impulse bull. Impulse was purchased out of the U2 program for his calving ease qualities and superior foot quality. Impulse walked here for 6 years and remained perfect footed and sound. 239 is a beautifully uddered young female which would be a maternal sibling to the lot 1 bull. The Royal Lass cows are great females and we are excited for her future. 573 is made very similar to his sire, moderate made, lots of look and shape.
Outcross calving ease son that came in dam from a real nice bred in the Brooking sale. Badlands is gaining popularity amongst breeders and in known best for calving ease, foot quality, and his outstanding dam. The 3211 cow was one we were excited about, being a direct daughter of Beauty 8187. She is long made, tidy uddered, and pretty headed. Owned with Tri-S

An interesting back story on the lot 39. Rachele entered her name and actually won this embryo in a draw. Thank you to Heathcote Angus. Straight SAV breeding here on a bull that is has really turned it on since weaning. Certified is known for his performance and would be a son of a full sibling to SAV Resource. Good performance on this bull considering his age and quiet as they come.
We conclude with a long bodied, sound son of our Wilbar Milestone walking bull. We bought Milestone with our friends at Westway Farms to use in our heifer pen. Milestone is extremely long bodied, proud fronted, and great footed. Milestone is a diverse bull able to use on heifers but as well crosses great on cows adding a little more calving ease on these cow bulls for the guys that want it. Add a shot of maternal into these calves with Density on the bottom side.
