BOHRSON MARKETING SERVICES

On behalf of the Taylor family of RKT Simmentals and the Woychyshyn’s at Crest View Land & Cattle and Crest View Ranch, we would like to welcome you to the Rancher’s Select Simmental Bull Sale.

This year’s offering features a strong, uniform set of red and black Simmental bulls, many with attractive blaze faces. Whether your program is focused on calving ease, performance, or building powerful replacement females, you will find bulls here that are designed to work — backed by programs that emphasize sound structure, docility, fertility, and real-world functionality.

The beef industry is currently experiencing historic times, with strong demand and opportunity across all segments. In an environment like this, the importance of using top-notch Simmental sires has never been greater. Simmental genetics offer a proven combination of maternal excellence and performance — adding value through productive females, growth, and pounds that pay. The bulls in this sale are built to help you capitalize on these opportunities and move your cow herd forward with confidence.

We invite you to view the bulls at any time prior to sale day — we would be happy to visit with you and discuss the offering in detail. Join us on March 14th at the Beautiful Plains Ag Complex in Neepawa, MB, for sale day and good cattle, good people, and a great atmosphere.

If you are unable to attend in person, Rob Voice, Martin Bohrson, or Cody Haney of Bohrson Marketing Services would be pleased to assist you in any way, including representing you for absentee bidding and buying.

RKT Simmentals

Welcome to the 7th annual Rancher's Select Simmental Bull Sale. A year ago I wrote in this catalogue about record high prices, and we all know how it has gone since then. It is truly great to see people get paid well for doing the toughest job that there is. At this time of year the job is to select the bulls that will improve your herd moving forward, and I believe the bull pen this year can do just that. Our section leads off with seven tremendous RFS Heavy Hitter sons. They are big, thick beef bulls that will add pounds to a calf crop. LFE Loyalty has left some eye-appealing sons and daughters, and the bulls will be popular at the sale. Sons of our walking bulls, Big Hills Striker and More’s Landslide will calve easily and perform well. A small but strong group of fall-born bulls will once again be popular with the commercial cattlemen. To round out the offering, we have a good selection of high-calving ease bulls from True North, Outcome, and more. As always we welcome you to the farm to check out the bulls prior to the sale. We will have videos and other information on our website later in February. I look forward to visiting with you March 14th in Neepawa, and don’t forget to come for lunch at noon.

Crest View ranch

Crest View Land & Cattle Co LTD

We would like to welcome you to the 2026, 7th edition of the Rancher’s Select Bull Sale.

It is hard to believe this year is number seven already, but how time flies! With exciting times in the cattle business and calves worth a premium, now is the time to optimize your calf crop with the use of a new herd sire to add pounds or new genetics.

If you are on the fence about changing up herd bulls, they are currently worth top dollar at the market. This will add to your ROI, added pounds on calves, and will put more dollars in your pocket. 2025 has to be our most consistent, hairiest package of red, black and baldy bulls to date; something for everybody!

We have some new exciting genetics to share with you in this year’s sale, as it was time to change out some herd bull power here. There will be sire groups off of the Grinalta’s Knightfall 12K bull; a Bounty Hunter son who is a black baldy with a mix of calving-ease and growth. Bulls out of the ARC Top Tier 5L bull who is a dark red blaze, double bred calving-ease bull that came from a female out of The R Plus dispersal. We also have some bulls out of the cherry red CSC Red Liner 58L bull who is an ET Next Century calf from the impressive MAF Tara 188D cow. This guy is very consistent in its makeup, added performance, and type and kind in both the bull and heifer divisions. Get in on the first ones to sell out of these new herd sires. There are also some sons once again out of our DMJ Cobra 19F bull that has done a concrete job for us over the years. These will be his last sons to sell as we parted with him to walk the pastures of our neighbours not far away.

In a new venture; our oldest son Chet is offering his first SimAngus cross bull in the sale out of his original papered Angus cow. In the future you, will see an inclusion of purebred black Angus and our percentage bulls on offer. We have made an addition to the Angus herd that the boys own, and purchased some more top quality purebred females from Amanda’s parents at Kembar Farms. We hope to keep their 40 years worth of work, selection and genetics going within the family.

Last but not least, a draft off the AI sires with the likes of Copperhead, Dimension, Merit and Kaboom which have all worked well for us here.

These bulls were weaned a touch later than normal, with everything going on, during the end of the third week of September. Having said that, these bulls may not be the biggest you will find but have done well and have grown and developed with ease to get them to sale day. The bulls are on a 'Masterfeeds' blueprint whole grain bull developer pellet and free choice hay. Our goal here is to develop these bulls in such a way that you will get optimal usage and years out of them; they are not pushed along and will not melt away prior to the next breeding season. They are strictly culled for feet and legs as well as temperament. All bulls are on a full herd health Pfizer Gold Program with Blackleg and Pour On as is the entire cow herd.

You will notice all bulls are 100K tested as well as tested for colour, polled and diluter. The results were not available at catalogue time but we should have the results sooner than later; so don’t hesitate to call regarding those or anything else you may require for information. If you'd like, please stop by the ranch to see these bulls in their home environment. Videos of the bulls will be posted prior to the sale.

We are looking forward to visiting with you all on sale day. If you can’t make it, we are live on DLMS once again this year. Don’t hesitate to touch base with any of Bohrson’s professional sales team if you are needing assistance to purchase your next herd bull as they’d be happy to help you. Cody and Taylor came and walked the pen in mid January, thus have a good idea of our offering.

See you sale day.
