If you purchase a steer, we ask that you have a plan for where you would like the animal to go. There is the option for resale, or it can go to the barn and you can make arrangements for slaughter with that member at a local abattoir.
All sales shall be final and binding. Any disputes shall be settled by auctioneer at or before time of sale.
Payment of livestock shall be made by cash or cheque
Any errors found in the catalogue will be corrected sale day by the auctioneer and will take precedence over the catalogue. Upon invoicing out please leave delivery instructions with the office staff.

CHARITY STEER 2026 1
The Regional 4-H program is proud to introduce Millie, the 2026 Charity Steer. Each year, the charity steer project allows our Regional 4H members to give back to the generous communities that continually support them. The responsibility of raising the steer rotates among clubs, teaching youth leadership, responsibility, and the importance of community service. “Millie” will be showcased at the PA Regional Show and Sale on June 7 & 8 at the Prince Albert Exhibition Grounds.
This year, all proceeds will support the new Mental Health Inpatient Unit through the Boreal Healthcare Foundation. Mental health needs in our region continue to grow, and access to timely, compassionate care is essential. This new unit will provide a modern, therapeutic environment, private patient rooms, family-supportive spaces, and increased capacity for mental health services in northern and central Saskatchewan.
Since its beginning in 2001, the Charity Steer program has helped local 4H members raise over $400,000 for community charities. This longstanding tradition reflects the commitment of our youth and the generosity of supporters like you. We respectfully invite you to consider becoming a donor of the 2026 Charity Steer. Your contribution, whether financial, in-kind, or through participation in the live Dutch Auction on June 8th at 3:00 pm, will directly support improved mental health care for individuals and families across our region.
Raffle tickets will be available for purchase for your chance to win “Millie” complete with cutting and wrapping donated by Northern Meats. Donations will also be accepted in person and online via DLMS. Your support will help ensure that people in our community can access the mental health care they need closer to home, surrounded by their families, support networks, and community.

Wild Rose 4-H Beef Club
Wild Rose 4-H Beef Club was established in 1940. For over 85 years our club has been apart of the 4-H movement. This year, we have a mix of Cloverbud, Junior, Intermediate & Senior Members who will be proudly showing Steer, Heifer & Cow Calf Projects. For over 30 years many family generations of our 4-H family have participated in the club’s annual Sweet Heart Supper & Live Auction Fundraiser - which over the years has become a highly anticipated community event. Canwood 4-H Beef Club
The Canwood 4H Beef Club has been part of the Canwood & area community since 1949. Our club currently has 28 members from Canwood, Mont Nebo, Parkside, Shellbrook, Holbein and Prince Albert communities. This year we welcomed new members Bodin Bahnuik, Amelia Moe, Brynlee Aiken, Aubree Aiken, and Dalen Thiel. The Canwood Club had a big year hosting their first “Spring Fling” and we would like to thank everyone who came out and supported our Club. In addition to the “Spring Fling”, Canwood is hosting the Charity Steer 2026 with all the proceeds being donated to the Boreal Healthcare Foundation; New Mental Heath Inpatient Unit.
