Welcome to our 9th Annual Bull and Female Sale to be held on our farm on Saturday, March 28th at 1:00 pm. We invite you to join us on sale day to look through the set of bulls and females on offer and enjoy some hospitality. A Highlight of this years sale may be the group of heifer calves we have on offer, along with the ‘Feature’ choice lot showcasing the first calves off our new walking herd sire in Perrot Boomerang 38L. This undoubtedly is our strongest set of heifers to sell thus far, and we are proud to offer them for your appraisal. This year we will also have on offer our biggest and best selection of calving ease bulls to date also highlighted by Perrot Boomerang 38L, as well as our tried and true Peak Dot Metallica 521K bull, which take note, Metallica himself sells in his entirety in this sale, along with a few select sons and daughters. If you are seeking more performance driven bulls, we also have a solid selection in both the Purebred Angus division as well as Percentage Simmentals. With record high prices throughout the cattle industry, the thing you need most are live, vigorous calves off your first time calvers, as well as calves on your cows that will push down those scales and turn a big profit when you take them to market.

These bulls are born off problem free cows. Cows that are easy fleshing, maternal, sound and carry ideal udders. We don’t have time (or Patience) to deal with problem cows, and neither should you. Calving time at our Ranch is always an exciting time around here. The anticipation of a new herd sires first offspring, or an older proven bulls offspring, along with the use of AI and Embryo transplants helps us enhance our cattle base. We are driven to improve our Genetic sources every year so we can pass on those results to you, because ultimately your success becomes our success.

As always, we are blessed to have a circle of family and friends that help us with this sale every year. First off, we could not be doing this without our children, and on that note, they are exactly the reason why we do this. We have no hired hands on the farm, so they are expected to step up to the plate and learn the value of work and family. Not every day is a great one, but every day on the farm is a blessing in our minds. Trent Walls has been our go to guy that comes every year to help us clip and get bulls prepped for pictures, videos, and sale day. There have been some long days, but he helps

every year to get us through, and share some great convo. For that we are appreciative. Madison Lafrentz is our photographer and videographer along with putting our catalogue together. She is second to none, and I can honestly say she takes alot of stress out of picture day. Her demeanour and talent make picture day almost enjoyable. lol. She is an amazingly talented lady. On Sale Day we have Margaret and Mike Ricard putting together an awesome lunch with Sharlene helping to serve, as well as her delicious breakfast cinnamon buns for all to enjoy. We also have my friend Bonnie Thompson to help with insurance needs. Lastly, my sales management and Auction crew. We have DLMS online, and a group of people that I hold in high regards and as friends in Bohrson Marketing, Mark Stock as an added Ringman, and Colonel Ryan Dorran as auctioneer. I can assure you all these people that help on this day are people that I care dearly for, and not only are they an important part of this day, they are all valued friends and family in our lives. We are very fortunate to have you all here with us.

Maybe one of the hardest things I find myself doing for this catalogue is writing the ‘Welcome Speech’. I find myself wondering how to tell everyone that has purchased either a bull or a female from us how truly Thankful we are. Every Spring there are a multitude of sales everyone could buy from, and if you have chosen to buy from our little operation, We Thank You. I feel like we continue to have the best repeat customer base. Often strangers purchases result in lifelong friendships, and some of my favorite memories happen in the sale barn once the sale is complete. It’s filled with friends that have taken a few hours off from the farm and whether they make a purchase or not, they stay for hours after for the comradery, the laughs, sometimes some dancing, and sometimes to solve the worlds problems. Maybe that is the best part about raising a family on the farm. Perrot Wicked 46N is a true sale feature in this years offering off arguably one of the strongest and most consistent bulls to ever walk our pastures. Even though we only used ‘Boom’ for one season, and on a select group of females, his offspring far exceeded our expectations and made us wish we had used him more. A sire that calves with moderate birth weights, stamps his offspring with hair, docility, muscle, and extra eye appeal on added bone and sound structure. Wicked 46N is a bull we regret not taking out last fall to be viewed by fellow ranchers, as we believe he carries all the above attributes combined with added depth of body. It is very unfortunate we lost his dam in pasture last summer, but she was an SAV Short Cut daughter that was a very reliable and solid producer here with a former Featured daughter selling through our sale to AJS Ranch Ltd in Alberta. A name that suits this bull as we are confident he is “Wicked” in his

kind and

ability.

SHOGUN 6N

Feature Boomerang son here that exhibits style, shape, and balance from all angles. His sire just being a yearling bull, breeds a virgin heifer on the first few days of breeding, and in turn her son becomes a feature in our sale. It doesn’t get much better than that. With just a 60 lb BW, which seems small, these Boom calves come out running and never look back. They are vigorous and grow. They carry that extra stoutness in their hip on excellent bone, and have a presence that’s second to none. The easiest job on picture day was picturing these Boomerang offspring. The maternal grandam of this bull is the dam of the Lot 36 heifer in this sale, and the Great Granddam was designated ‘Elite’ in the Canadian Angus Association. An eye appealing calving ease option with maternal greatness backing him up.

71N Perrots

A younger February bull that has stood out since he was a calf last spring. He carries a modest 85lb BW, stands on lots of bone, has a solid frame with added length, muscle and hair. This bulls 2 maternal brothers were both sold through our sale with one going to Cross X Ranch and last years brother selling to our friends in Quebec at Ranch Covey Ranch, where they make the best maple syrup I might add. Kaboom 71N is a bull I have been fond of all year, and bulls of this type and kind are hard to make. I think this guy is a stand out.

AMIGO 88N 4 Perrots

These Boomerang calves are Peas in a Pod. Whether it’s the bulls or the females, they are all stamped the same. Just like the other Boom bulls, this guy is stout, hairy, excellent skulled, straight topped with width in his quarter and extra hair. His dam is from the biggest maternal group of cows in our herd, the Blackbirds. His dam is a docile, easy fleshing nice uddered cow that has a super nice Metallica bull calf at side right now, and gained a month on her calving interval this spring. Buy with confidence on this Amigo. *Disclaimer; Amigo has a small bit of scar tissue under his throat latch which is evident in picture. This is from a foxtail infection while in the pasture last summer. He will be vet checked and guaranteed.

Check out this flashy dude! A surefire calving ease bull in Boom 38N. With an actual BW of 70lbs, here’s a bull that could easily be put out with a group of heifers.Boom 38N is a stout made, moderate built bull with a docile nature. His dam was purchased through the Touch of Class sale as one of the high selling heifer calves. She is a direct daughter of the popular Ellingson Profound bull who has been highly regarded for his superior foot quality and muscle shape. A beefy made heifer safe option in Perrot Boom 38N

BLITZ 5N 6

Here is a bull that has always stood out in terms of eye appeal and docility. I really think this bull is a highlight in our sale this year, and if you see him in person, he is almost identical to the Lot 2 bull in the sale. Blitz 5N is just a heifers first calf with a small BW of just 62lbs. With that BW, it’s evident they do nothing but grow after. Everyone that has toured the bull pen thus far has pointed out these Boomerang sons. Not only are they low BW, they are stamped similarly in terms of how stout, hairy and sound they are. They have big tool boxes, and are super attractive through their front carrying it into a smooth shoulder. Blitz 5N is a family fave here, and his grandam is designated ‘Elite’ in the Canadian Angus Association. If you are seeking a calving ease bull that can raise market toppers or productive females you will want to retain, this is the one.

BLACKIE CHAN 47N

Perrot Blackie Chan 47N has been a phenotypic favourite since he was a baby. Even as a calf he had a striking look to him with a beautiful thick, pitch black haircoat. He carries extra length throughout his body with an extended front end and smooth shoulder, and carries himself on a structurally sound frame. His dam, Perrot Blackbird 67H is one of our herds top young brood matrons and has been designated ‘Elite’ since 2026 in the Canadian Angus Association where she carries an average ratio of 106 on her first 4 calves. Former feature bulls were offered through our past sale where they became some of our high sellers selling to Richard Van Sprundel and Huxley Colony. His sire, Merit Investment was raised by the great folks at Merit Cattle, and then purchased by Duralta and Murray Ranches. Since that time his semen has been in high demand fetching upwards of over $500 a straw consistently whenever its offered for sale. Merit Investment has the ability to add that desired look to his offspring with soundness, length of body and muscle. All the genetic pieces are put together for this guy to be a great one.

Here’s a bull with an intriguing pedigree that’s backed by some outstanding cattle on both the top and bottom side. Maternally his Grand dam would arguably be one of the most beautiful cows to be raised at the great Brooking Ranch. Her daughter, Perrot Beauty 37J who is the dam of this bull while still being a young cow here is rising to the top in our herd with her production capability, and is the highly valued dam of Perrot Boomerang who has several of his first set of offspring offered in this years sale. Perrot Beauty 37J is currently raising one of our best bull calves once again this spring. Paternally, Merit Investment semen and progeny have been in high demand the past few years, and for good reason. They are attractive, sound cattle that get better with age. Perrot Cha Ching 53N is deep made, and built sound from the ground up. He has a long hip with good testicular development, and I have no doubt this

Perrot Alabama Slammer 48N is rising to the top in this years group of bulls. Visually he is built solid, with a very nice character Angus head, he is smooth shouldered and extremely balanced with muscle shape and substance. Genetically this bull has an outstanding pedigree. His dam came to us through some embryos I purchased from our friends at Brooking Angus. She is a direct Soo Line Rose 1019 daughter and her production and value is highly regarded within the Angus breed. This bulls dam, Perrot Rose 23J, has an upheaded sharp profile with a perfect udder, and outstanding foot. Paternally he is a son of Perrot Moonshine, a former Presidents Classic Champion and Division Champion at Agribition. These Moonshine cattle are so similar in type with their gentle dispositions and even as baby calves show extra body mass and volume. Here’s a young bull that will be able to produce big

females.

Sire of Lots 9-16

Perrot ZZ Top 108N has been one of my personal favorites throughout the year. The youngest bull in the offering, and I think he’s a stand out. A bull I wish we would have brought in and showcased last fall in our string. His dam Harprey Allegra 40C stems from Ontario and since aquiring her, she has been a stellar producer for us. She is a capacious power cow with a big bold rib and high milk numbers. She is now an 11 year old cow here and has been designated as ‘Premier’ within the Canadian Angus Association since 2022. On an individual basis ZZ top 108N is cool fronted, long quartered, and deep made with added hair and performance. His sire is former Presidents Classic Champion and this bull is as close of a replica to Perrot Moonshine 7K that we have ever had. Here is a young bull that’s a front runner in this years bull sale line up.

EPIC 81N

Perrot Epic 81N is another moderate framed stylish son of Perrot Moonshine 7K, and a full brother to a popular bull we sold in last years sale to repeat buyer Mike Warken. Added depth of body, strength of top and scrotal development with a long quarter make this bull complete, and with his Grand dam being the dam of the feature Lot 10 bull, this bulls background is both predictable and productive. Epics 81N’s dam is an angular, deep made cow while maintaining an ultra feminine front end, and an ideal udder. She has a heifer calf at side this year that is one of our best at this stage. RICO SUAVE 42N 12 Perrots

Perrot Rico Suave 42N is an easy keeping well balanced bull that is known around here for his easy going docile nature. His dam was purchased from our friends at Gold Bar, where she was a class winner at Agribition as a calf. Rita 117G was Talia’s 4H heifer but during covid, no showing was done, so she was brought back as a cow-calf pair where she claimed the Supreme Female title at the Alameda 4H Regional. Rita is a phentotypic standout in our pasture with her big bold rib and capacity while remaining feminine in her make up with an solid udder. Rita’s 3 daughters are all retained in our herd, and they are a bright spot in the future of our herds production. Her very first calf was sold through our sale to repeat customers Franken Farms who sell groups of bred heifers annually. Here’s a bull that could amp up your herd both visually and genetically.

Perrot Alamo 17N is a son of a beautifully made Elchie’s Pride female, whose cow family goes back to the 1970’s when my Dad purchased his first Elchie Pride heifer. This bulls dam is picturesque in her make up, and angular made with a beautiful udder. Alamo is wide based, deep flanked and thick. Like all Moonshine progeny their disposition is second to none, and with an old pedigree here on the bottom side here is a bull that will get the cows bred and remain efficient in his type and kind.

A solid honest bull in Perrot Moonlit 80N that stems from a productive cow family here. This bull is a hairy, long made no nonsense bull that is soft sided and attractive. I will be repeating myself with all these Moonshine progeny, so I will let the picture speak for itself. However, here is a neat looking bull off a very nicely uddered SAV Short Cut daughter that would be a solid choice in this years offering.

A very good bull here that should not be overlooked in this years offering. His dam is a very productive direct Density daughter that we have sold 4 previous sons through our bull sale to Twisted T Ranch, Darryl and Cheryl Harrison, Gervais Farms, and Cody Meyers. Built to last and predictable is how I would describe this bulls dam. In his own right, Moonlit is much like the other Moonshine cattle being wide topped with long rounded hips, deep made and docile. A bull with a high end pedigree and predictable future.

Perrot Moonshine 98N is one of the younger bulls in the sale this year, but he remains above average in Yearling Weight. A very long bodied bull with some hip and natural muscle to him. His dam is a big bodied heavy milking Sooline Motive daughter and there is some line breeding on this guy but I think his progeny with be highly marketable.

LOT 17 & 18 A cool pair or Sapphire sons off a pair of Bella cows. We purchased the sire Brooking Sapphire from our friends at the Brooking Angus bull sale in 2024. He was purchased as a low BW, good footed son of Brooking Emerald that walked around with a high headed cocky appearance with soft hair. On the female side, Perrot Bling 101N’s dam is a now 13 year old cow that has never failed us with her production and ease of handling. She has been a very reliable producer that always raises us a solid calf. The Bella 21H cow is a moderate made, easy fleshing and docile female who is a daughter of the above Bella 25A cow and Sire SAV President. The offspring of Sapphire breed true to type, as they are moderate soft made cattle with loads of hair and a definite presence. These Sapphire calves are born moderate and vigorous, and here’s a pair of 3/4 blood brothers, that I think show lots of potential.

A few years ago I got a call from the Bohrson Marketing crew telling me they found a bull at the Peak Dot sale that fit the description of what I was looking for. I had been on the hunt for an outcross calving ease bull with a very good foot and a strong presence. After some videos and calls back and forth they purchased one of the youngest bulls on offer that day. Peak Dot Metallica has done his job here, and he did it well. Calving ease extraordinaire with an outstanding big foot and an easy going nature, he is long bodied, stout made and very correct and will add hair to his offspring. This past season we used him more than ever due to our customers demands for his sons. This Spring our herd has his biggest, best, and final calf crop here, and the discussion was had, and he has done all he can do here, and it’s time for him to find a new home. We will be sad to let this guy go, but this becomes your chance to own a proven, no nonsense calving ease sire that does his job efficiently and is easy to manage in the off season. A great opportunity here with Peak Dot Metallica 521K.

Perrot Zac Top 3N is a son off our families personal favorite 2 year old heifer. This bulls young dam is a phenotypic stand out with added depth of body, angular frame, and ideal udder. Rita 16L easily maintained her fleshing ability while raising this stud of a bull calf. The maternal Grand dam is one of our favorite brood matrons, and is the dam of the Lot 12 bull in the sale. Zac Top 3N will be one of Metallica’s top sons to date as he is upheaded, strong topped, long bodied, deep sided, and carries ample frame from a heifer bull on a sound structured base. Zac Top 3N with his commanding presence and appealing EPD profile make him a highlight of our 2026 Offering.

One of only 2 Metallica sons in the offering, and a bull that offers a low Birth weight and above average Yearling weight. Perrot’s Metallica 85N has extra length and added growth, I think he is a good option to use on heifers. His dam is a larger framed, nice made female that has had a son sell in this sale to repeat buyers at Sloan Farms, as well as a heifer selling to another repeat customer in Alberta at AJS Ranch. Buy with confidence on this sound structured, smooth made bull with calving ease numbers.

PENDING : ANNA 2N : JANAURY 02 2025

Perrot Blast 2N is a Non-Papered bull that cannot be registered. His dam is a 2 year old Percentage daughter, with the sire being Boomerang. I would call this bull a 3/4 Angus, 1/4 Simmental Bull. Blast 2N was an instant stand out as a baby and it was decided early on that even though he’s not papered, I believe he holds great value in his type and kind. This stud is just a heifers first calf, and she came back in heat early and we AIed her, and she has a beauty RF Caliber bull calf at side this spring. Blast 2N is an extremely attractive bull with his cool and sleek front end, wide top, outstanding haircoat, with added roundness and muscle shape while maintaining extra bone standing on a solid foot. Add to this his docile nature, we think he is pretty special, and a guy we contemplated keeping to use ourself. I think Blast has the ability to raise top end market or show steers if that’s your jam, without sacrificing maternal strength. A definite favorite that catches everyone’s eyes as they tour through the bulls.

Perrot Silver Fox 18N is surely a stand out in this years sale in terms of performance, eye appeal and his beautiful blue roan color. It is hard to deny the style and substance he carries with his exceptional growth, docility, thickness and foot quality. His dam is a big bodied cow that year after year raises a big heavy weight calf, with her last years Bull Calf being named Champion Percentage at Ag Ex, and following it up with Reserve Percentage Bull at Agribition. The sire True North was a former Agribition Champion for Wheatland Cattle, and as a sire he has continued on raising Champions. With Silver Fox’s big ears, soft blue hair and distinctive look, we think he has more than good looks to add to the industry. He is a big time performance bull that could elevate your calf crop both paternally and maternally.

1/2 Simmental

LOTS 24, 25 & 26 Here is a trio of LLW True Card North percentage sons that carry alot of value in terms of the muscle mass and performance they carry. With regards to their dams, they are females we selected to AI to True North due to their ability to raise calves in our herd that rise to the top in terms of having exceptional growth and power. The dams are all sound structured, big volume cows with solid udders that continually bring in heavy weight calves. True North is a past Agribition Champion bull, and just this past Agribition, a son of his was at side of his dam when they were crowned Supreme Champion for Wheatland Cattle. We have used True North for the past few years and they are born easy, have high growth and carry extra eye appeal. His sons have been popular with our customer base in our annual sale. This set of Percentage bulls are long bodied, soft sided with square hips and big tops. Bulls that will be able to cover cows efficiently, and their offspring should be highly marketable whether you are seeking to retain females or market topping steers.

Perrot Banff 14N is our only purebred Simmental bull in the sale, and he just gets better as he ages. His dam came to us ‘in dam’ through a cow we purchased at the R+ Dispersal. She is an own Mandate daughter that is a moderate, soft made angular cow with a beautiful udder. The dams maternal sister was sold in last years sale to Ms Karlee Hull, (who happens to be really good at party tricks;). As well as her maternal brother was just recently names Reserve Champion Simmental Bull Calf at Brandon Ag Ex, and a bull we plan to utilize in our own herd. This young True North bull is a heifers first calf, and with his added chrome, length of body and 73lb birth weight, I wouldn’t be afraid to use him on heifers.

Maternal Sister of Dam

A big power bull in Perrot Caliber 22N that is a definite performance sire. He is our only RF Caliber son in this years sale, and he is a scale crusher. Caliber 22N is massive in his design and sure to bring on the heavy weight calves to market. A bull with a bit more BW, so to be used on cows only at breeding time, but a docile bull that can not only add pounds to your calf crop, he should be capable of adding frame, length, muscle, and docility to his offspring. His 10 year old SAV Angus Beef dam has been a stellar producer for us, and her 2 year old Percentage daughter could easily be one of our favorite young Percentage females in the herd. The RF Caliber sire stems from our friends at Rancier Farms in Alberta, and his progeny have lit up the Simmental breed the past few years, and I can tell you that we have loved all the progeny of this great sire that we have had here. Perrot Boomerang 38L

Selling Choice of Lot 29 & 30 This year we are offering choice on our 2 Boomerang heifers. Boomerang fully exceeded our expectations on his first calf crop here. Our biggest regret with this bull is that we didn’t use him more. Whether it was bull calves or heifers, they rose to the top of the pens in terms of phenotype as well as structure, while adding muscle and hair quality with enviable front ends and eye appeal. With only a few of his daughters born here last Spring we decided on selling choice on these 2 heifers. Only 1 will Sell!

I’m not sure which is the better female. Both are very pretty headed heifers, and carry width over their top. They are sound in their movement with added style and strong pedigrees.

The Nina cow family originated from our good friends at Bar-E-L Angus in Stettler, and these cows will consistently outproduce themselves. These females always carry exceptional udder quality , and will bring a calf to the top of your pen regardless of who you breed them to. The Pollyannas originated from the Com As U R herd where that heifer was a former high seller at their sale. The dam of this heifer was just a 2 year old when she calved this beauty. Her dam is just a very nicely made, moderate heifer that is currently raising a top bull calf that will be a highlight in next years sale if all goes well.

If it was up to me, I wouldn’t be selling either one of these heifers. I just wanted to showcase the first of the Boomerang daughters, and I think this is a special representation of what he is capable of producing.

Lady 69N is a heifer that has always had a presence about her. She is a broody beauty with natural thickness, capacity and fleshing ability is a complete made package. The combination of Sapphire and the Lady cow family should result in a cow you will want to keep all the daughters out of.

Sire of 31 & 32

Nina 74N is a very stylish, deep sided heifer with added presence. Her sire was purchased from the Brooking Angus Ranch, and Nina’s dam was a personal favorite female born on the farm in 2021, and she has not disappointed, with her 2 sons selling through our sale and now this heifer. Keeping with her consistent production, she calved out another top heifer calf this Spring. The Ninas are known for bringing in some of our best calves every year, and their udder quality is exceptional.

Perrots Lady 26N is a sweetheart of a heifer sired by Moonshine and off a young Crawford Guarantee daughter. I think this heifer is a replica of her dam with being big bodied, sweet fronted and very good uddered. We have many Lady cows in our herd, and for good reason. They are easy keeping, good natured cows that always bring in a solid calf. This heifers maternal brother was a Featured Metallica son that sold to T4 Land and Cattle in our 2025 Bull Sale.

BELLA 95N

Perrots Bella 95N comes from a cow family here that will almost always out produce themselves. Bella’s full sister sold in the 2024 Angus Collection Sale for $11,000 to Jason and Bev Kelly in Alberta. This heifer is very similar in type being very soft made and angular, as well as easy-keeping. With an added bonus of a former Presidents Classic Champion as her sire, her future looks bright

Lady 65N is a daughter of Peak Dot Metallica, as well as one of our biggest high volume SAV Angus Beef cows. This heifer is elegant in her design and carries that typical balance Metallica look. Straight in her lines, and sound in her structure, I think she will make a superb cow going forward.

The youngest heifer in this years offering, and due to her age putting her slightly behind the others in terms of condition, she may find herself as a sleeper in the sale, however her dam is far from being a sleeper. Her dam is a high volume, sound cow with a beautiful udder and picturesque profile. With this young heifer being an own Metallica x Blackbird daughter it should add value to her worth as a future brood matron. In her own right, Blackbird 107N is sharp fronted, long sided, structurally correct and set to get better with time.

Our family is pleased to be donating this Framed Original Photo with 100% of the proceeds going back to our local Alameda 4H Beef Club. This Photo Print called “Black Frost”, was taken by the talented Madison Lafrentz on the day we took our bull photos. Members from the 4H Club will be selling tickets, and the draw will be made just prior to the Bull Sale. Please help support our youth in Agriculture.

Perrots Heather 8N came from a trio of embryos we purchased from Peak Dot. We ended up with a pair of outstanding heifer calves, and we are letting this one go. Heather 8N has unmatched depth of body, combined with a bold rib, lots of hair and performance. It can be hard to find heifer calves at this age that exude such maternal broodiness. I can only assume that a heifer of this quality that stems from 2 high caliber herds in Peak Dot and Brooking Angus has a probability of being a top brood matron for her new owner.
